I’m excited for Rodon. Really hope and think he can make the spot his own, would also save us having to buy a central defender in the summer if he can be as good as he’s been when I’ve watched him for Wales and Swansea. Has everything to be a top premier league defender, only lacks turning speed (like Dier). Fast in a straight line though, and aerial dominance is vital for our set piece woes.

On the positive side, you've got N'dombele playing deeper but it needs the full backs to seriously contribute.

Dele was very bad as an 8 when Poch tried to play him there, like seriously dreadful. He has to be a 10/second striker sort of player to be effective and there's no place for that role now. Directly replacing Son is the closest to it but he doesn't have Son's pace so that's a no-go.

Agree with everything you say.
Indeed, the deeper Alli gets the worse he gets

Dele made some sarky comment on his Xbox/PlayStation live feed thing the other day about not playing.

Can't really blame him though? Plays reasonably well when given the odd chance and then banished from squad? I don't really see a problem with a player moaning about game time. At least they want to play. It must be rubbish for him at the moment

Ha just said the same. I don’t have an issue with it either but I would prefer him to have it out with Jose behind closed doors. Which I expect he has to some degree.

Have a moan in-house though, don't do it through social media, doing that perfectly displays his petulance.

Interesting line-up. I guess a sort of 3-4-2-1 going forward?

He was asked what he tells them at half time.

He said that he tells them to be dominant, attack and kill the game.
This backs up what one of the itk was saying last week that his mate at the ground always hears the staff telling them to attack, i really don't think it's Mou that's the problem, it's just the lack of creativity and confidence of the players going in their shell and trying to see the game out and leave Kane and son to grab another
