You've possibly already seen this but the club have asked us to post the following: With a nice little bonus at the bottom.

MATCHDAY SECURITY - PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY!

We should like to thank all our supporters for their patience and understanding as we implemented increased security procedures at stadium entry points at last Sunday’s fixture with West Ham United.
The co-operation and good humour of those who heeded the advice to arrive early to clear security was appreciated by all at the Club. Those supporters who arrived close to kick off experienced extended queues due to these additional checks with some unfortunately missing the start of the game as a result. Security WILL NOT be reduced or compromised in the event of queues forming to clear security and kick off will not be delayed as a result of this.

We should therefore like to remind fans once again that it is important to plan their journey for an earlier than normal arrival time.

In preparation for this Sunday’s fixture with Chelsea, there will be similar procedures in place. As our fixture is an early kick off at midday, to ensure you reach your seat before the action commences, we strongly advise that you arrive no later than 11am to clear security.

We also ask that you assist in the following ways:

• Please ensure all coats and jackets are open and ready to be searched
• Avoid bringing any bags with you to the stadium unless absolutely necessary. ALL bags will be searched. Please note there are no “left luggage” facilities at the stadium
• If you are experiencing extended queuing, please be patient. Our staff are doing everything possible to get you into the stadium safely and as quickly as possible.
• Be extra vigilant and alert staff or police to anything unusual

The stadium will be open 30 minutes earlier than usual at 10am to allow additional time to enter the stadium.
Supporters arriving early on Sunday will have the opportunity to meet a quartet of Spurs legends.
Mark Falco, Micky Hazard, David Howells and Graham Roberts will be in the concourses around the stadium between 10am-11am where fans will have autograph and photograph opportunities.

Took the advice of Tottenham and was outside the ground 5 mins earlier than normal (11.40!!) walked straight in, not a single person infront of me (South Upper)

They said it was the same security as the West Ham game which for South Upper was no problem either

Tottenham really need to get their act together so all entrances are the same in relation to time it takes to gain access. South Upper at times in the recent past has been a disaster. This season it's been good so far!!!

Long may the turnstiles and software keep working....

Felt sorry for those who got there an hour early and had to suffer the cold, the crap pre match entertainment and the rubbish catering facilities

I always get there an hour early, so I can just walk in at my leisure, get a brew and watch the warm ups.

Do you go to county games and do the scoring with your set of different coloured pencils?

Pencils? Gel pens mate, book looks real professional then.

Also security was weird. Got there early as mate lent me his season ticket in east stand. As I walked round from west and north I saw massive queues. Thought it would take ages. By the time I got to the south there was no-one. I didn't even get searched, maybe as just had a jacket but definitely not consistent

I got there at midday. Missed nothing. If I had turned up at 1.45pm I'd think the same.

Yeah should have said pens. Being a cricketer with the attention span of about 30 mins for scoring I need to use pencils!!
