If we got €100 million total for Kane plus Tel on a 2 year no recall loan I’d be happy. Little buyback in Kane’s contract and I think all parties would get what they want. We get decent fee and an outstanding, exciting talent that would suit our new style of play, and Bayern get their marquee signing and a young player developed.

I don't know. Generational talent or not, I'd never take an 18 year old on loan without an option to buy. We're not a feeder club.

If we negotiated an option to buy - it might tempt the player to get more game time.

Even if it's a high option price, we'd de-risk the signing, and also give us a year or two of credit to spend the Kane money on CBs.

Why would you want Tel for a couple of years? By the time he hits 20 and starts properly showing anything, he'll be off.
All that will do is block the pathway for any of our young talents, with absolutely no benefit to anyone apart from Bayern.

Fair enough. I'd take Muani, I wouldn't take Tel on loan. He'd spend the first season getting acclimated to the Prem, and there's no guarantee he would, next he might get an injury keeping him out half the season. Even if it turned out well, I'd be pissed at developing a talent for another club, while also giving them our world class talisman.

Why? Richy can play up there as can Son so if we spent 80 million on Muani he would have to play and then Tel would have no chace of playing.
