It’s been reported in the Sun (I think) that Matt Taylor could be on his way from Portsmouth to Spurs, well a guy I work with his best mate works with Matt Taylor’s Mum. Hence to say we are looking into the likelihood that this could actually happen.

The text has been sent and the moment we get a reply I‘ll let you know….

Fingers crossed…

Just heard back from my mate’s source and apparently he’s desperate to get away from Portsmouth, only his mum was a bit cagey about confirming a link with Spurs.

Not to sure what to make of this one now, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Ghaly and 2 million, not a penny more.

Ghaly + 3 sounds closer to the mark!

I Like Matty Taylor a lot, but more of a left back, he's done very well at left mid on occasion though i have to say, and would be good back up for Steed whilst we hunt for an alternative

(which could be a very very long time if we go by past circumstance! LOL!)

Didnt BEN say we definately werent in for him at all? I would be suprised to see him end up with us, but it would be a pleasant suprise if he did.

we dont appear to have a chance of anything better than taylor, he is a good player so i hope we do sign him, an improvement on tainio or steed.

a swap deal to get rid of ghaly, murphy would be great.

sadly, i think thats probably true

any chance of MGP ?

he isnt making waves about leaving blackburn infact always states he is really happy there, in these circumstances the buying club must pay a ridiculous transfer fee to make the deal happen, we wont do that.

i think he'd be well worth a £12/£15 million offer. He'd be worth so much more to us. Especially if taylor wouldnt be allowed to leave for less than £8million

I've been banging on about Taylor for some time. I really like him (and not just because he's a Tottenham supporter), he's a grafter who could fill in at LB & LM and do an admirable job in both positions.

Ok, he's not going to set the LW alight which is what most of you are looking for. However is MJ looking for that? Have THFC bid for one lightening LW this summer? I don't believe that Petrov chose MCFC over us when he could have been in London with his international team mate playing UEFA footie.
