International team manager doesn't seem to be a good fit for him. he'll see players for a few weeks every couple of months whereas everything we've heard he likes to have day to day interaction etc.
Time will tell I suppose

Appreciating the point above about poch enjoying time on the training field, but he would however be a good england manager for promoting youth and good football. I'd love for him to manage the national side if that's what he wants.

I disagree. Poch only blooded in youngsters in his first season when he was trying to oust senior players. After the first season, his record wasn’t that great. Southgate on the other hand has probably been the best England coach ever to play youngsters. However, I don’t think him nor his team have the tactical knowledge to make the best of probably the best set of youngsters in world football atm.

I'd be interested in how Poch would go about things, I certainly think it'd be more attack minded but perhaps you have to then accept the risk of possibly no longer going as deep in tournaments and maybe it being the stick used to beat him with if he doesn't go further than Southgate in comps.

That said I remember back when HR was with us everyone saying that Redknapp would have been ideal to get the best out of that group of England players and I'd have agreed; then I saw him put up his England squad/formation for whatever tournament was upcoming and he'd done as every other England coach prior and shoehorned in Lampard and Gerrard together. That was it for me credibility gone!

Ultimately I'd hate for Poch to take the role and bomb though.
