So harsh lol ?Should've quit just after he was born in that case.
Two managers who pride themselves on a high level of tactical work with squads on the training pitch. Something that you don't get time or opportunity to implement during the few days you get with the squad as an international manager.Daily Mail (yuk) saying Poch & Tuchel both interested in the England manager’s job if Southgate leaves.
Southgate considering his future after England's World Cup heartbreak
SAMI MOKBEL IN DOHA: Gareth Southgate's recent comments have amplified concerns at the FA that the 52-year-old manager is ready to step away from the England team.www.dailymail.co.uk
I could see Poch being interested in the England job - even more so than the Argentina job. Good paying, high profile job - lets him and his wife continue to live in London. Two managers who pride themselves on a high level of tactical work with squads on the training pitch. Can't see either of them being interesting at this point in their careers in an international job outside their own nations. Guess they have to fill column space with something while the season is on pause.
Yep doubt any truth in that and highly doubt the FA would employ a German to manage the English national team, even if Tuchel is world class. Two managers who pride themselves on a high level of tactical work with squads on the training pitch. I'm pretty much with this idea, it does seem a bit odd. As for the lower nations - if they can find 15-20 players to put onto a pitch then surely they can find a manager - might also help in getting more people to go into football management from that nation if managing their country is a real possibility for them.I really feel like they should ban non natives from managing National teams. I get the argument for the lower and developing nations but i dont know i just feel like all national team managers should be from that country.
And you see Morocco reaching a semi final with a native manager just to prove that coaching talent can be found outside the top nations.I'm pretty much with this idea, it does seem a bit odd. Sounds a bit racist. Surely someone should be judged on ability than county of origin?I really feel like they should ban non natives from managing National teams. I dunno. Doubt he'd put it forward quite so bluntly as that, but acting without an agent as he does, Poch's camp have a history of leaking stories sloppily through the media. The way he was (obviously but indirectly) pushing for the United job, prior to ETH getting the call, was kind of cringeworthy in its overtness. His weird dalliance the previous summer, over potentially returning to Spurs, was lesser noticed but no less clumsy. To me, that seems so unlike Poch to speak about wanting a managerial position that someone else is in. He doesn't disrespect people.
Slow media day & probably made up
But if the players in a national side have to come from a particular nation, why should it not state in the rules that the manager must also be from the same nation?Sounds a bit racist. Surely someone should be judged on ability than county of origin?
