Bit torn on this as he was phenomenal for us and he’s just bigging up his new club but it still hurts him saying stuff like this and I do think it’s tarnished some of his legacy with us.

Think I’ll still sing his name not boo as he was magical for us and that can’t be forgotten but a few songs taking the piss as well would be good to balance it out now he’s the enemy.

I hope his tactical flaws come out for everyone to see.

He took us on a journey but tactically he was never the best and in big games got a bit found out at times.

Will be interesting to see how he does.

Anyways big Ange is our guy now! 💪

I hold no ill-will to him on a personal level but I do still think he didn't need to go there.

Yes, he has been out of a job for a short while and needs to get back in the game but opportunities always arise and I could definitely see a situation where Howe has a bad season and Newcastle start looking for someone like him, and he'd fit a role that well.

Or Dortmund get off to a bad start, or Juventus finally fire Allegri....

Lots of possibilities.

He didn't need to go to one of our worst/fiercest rivals just cause Levy didn't want him - and that's the key point here - LEVY DIDN'T WANT HIM...not the fans who adored him and were singing for him as recently as May.

So yeah, he's massively gone down in my estimation and closed the door on a future return.

The Poch chapter died and will not be resurrected.

Let's hope Postecoglou can go better.
Agree. I suppose it came down to he wanted to stay in london with his family where they have a home and PL best league and Chelsea tons of cash so if the downside is he pisses odd a few spurs fans he probably thought it’s worth it overall.

I didn’t really care when he went there because it was obvious Levy and the board didn’t want him here and he obviously was pining for us or a PL return at least. He shouldn’t have gone there in the first place, because chelsea and arsenal are enemies, but he thought it wouldn’t be the same as arsenal from our point of view. He was wrong, but whatever, he couldn’t undo anything at that point. If he then got his head down and did his work with them like their own ex fan favourite, Mourinho, had done with us in a strictly professional sense, then not many would feel particularly irked by him being at that shit hole. However, He knows exactly how those comments will sit with us, fans of the club who made him, and for that reason he is now a rat bastard and I hope his career completely falls apart to the point he can’t even get a job in the Somalian football league.

Nobody hates him but if you're fawning over him and clapping him when he comes back to the Lane you need to have a long hard look at yourself.

Hes at Chelsea now. The biggest bunch of ****s in the league, and he's part of that along with their fans.
Why do you need to take a hard look to clap him? We appointed George Graham, AVB, Jose and Conte... Maybe we need to look at ourselves for supporting managers from scummy clubs

Chelsea fans still had a lot of love for Conte when he came to us. I just think it’s not right for us to be hating on Poch. End of the day he wanted to come to us, and we didn’t approach which probably hurt him. Man needs to work and Chelsea came in with a nice pay check. What can you do?

I don’t understand… why didn’t he say he hates their fans and everything they stand for……

No realistic good solution here (other than he gets them relegated and rips off his shirt to reveal a Spurs tattoo on the final day)

He does well and Spurs were holding him back.
He doesn’t do well and every other fan says told you he was a fraud…

Least he can do is buy Dier off us

As long as he's there, I'll never, ever sing his name. I love(d) Poch, understand why he went there and, even though it stings today, I understand why he said what he said.

But if any self respecting Spurs fan sings the name of the Chelsea manager...Jesus, I'll be on to the stewards looking for them to be ejected.

What a cesspit this is. You are all aware that he’s a professional football manager with a house in London in need of a new job, and he went to the only other elite PL London club that isn’t Arsenal? A grown-up, adult man, making a work decision when it became obvious the management at his preferred option didn’t want his services.

He manages a fierce sporting rival. That’s about it. A rat? Nope. We (the club, the fans) don’t get a say in where he chooses to go.

Because he coach's Chelsea now. Literally said that in my post.

If you clap him you're getting a clip round the ear.

My personal conspiracy theory, Levy never wanted him here. He was a Nuno/Sherwood style stopgap until Levy could get his glamour manager. He never got even a shred of the transfer backing that AVB, Mourinho, or Conte received. As soon as results soured, Levy jettisoned him. There were even rumors that Levy was speaking with Mourinho a month before Poch was sacked.

Remember that time he said he'd never go to Barcelona because they're the main rival of the club he coached previously? And the same about Arsenal? Is Chelsea not a bitter rival?

Fuck him. He could've gone anywhere else.

I’ve just realised that all of these comments this afternoon, from hate to love to resigned acceptance actually =

How can I just let you walk away?
Just let you leave without a trace
When I stand here taking every breath, with you, ooh
You're the only one who really knew me at all
How can you just walk away from me?
When all I can do is watch you leave
'Cos we've shared the laughter and the pain and even shared the tears
You're the only one who really knew me at all

So take a look at me now, oh there's just an empty space
And there's nothin' left here to remind me
Just the memory of your face
Ooh, take a look at me now, well there's just an empty space
And you coming back to me is against the odds
And that's what I've got to face

I wish, I could just make you turn around
Turn around and see me cry
There's so much I need to say to you so many reasons why
You're the only one who really knew me at all
So take a look at me now, well there's just an empty space
And there's nothin' left here to remind me, just the memory of your face
Now take a look at me now, 'cos there's just an empty space
But to wait for you, is all I can do and that's what I've got to face
Take a good look at me now, 'cos I'll still be standin' here
And you coming back to me is against all odds
It's the chance I've gotta take
Take a look at me now

He said himself he saw Chelsea as bigger rivals than Arsenal, which makes it even worse
