Apparently Kounde is on United's list if they cannot get Varane and Chelsea are also wanting him so I imagine it's highly unlikely we will convince Kounde to come. Therefore it's probably better to progress a deal like this.

Why don’t we just fire our scouts and leak that we are interested in Leipzig, Atalanta and Leicester players and then buy the players they get linked to. Would save us a ton of money and we would end up with some really good players

Either of Kounde or Lacroix and I'm pleasantly surprised.

Both have enormous potential and will immediately become our best CB by a distance, and both can fit different types of systems so would succeed with a more progressive manager too.

Lacroix is the signing we should be making. €25/30m and wages likely wouldn’t be above 80/85k a week. He is instantly our best defender. Him and Rodon could be an unreal partnership for years. I’d take this guy over Skriniar and Kounde.

Yes RBL are in for him and I know that he would probably like to go there, last I saw they’d made an offer of about £18m ish, I reckon about €30m gets it done, which is a fucking snip!

We have the added bonus that Wolfsburg would MUCH rather sell to us than RBL as we are not a direct rival...they’ve replaced Upemecano and Konate with Gvardiol and Simakan so they’re looking good!

Other than the CL aspect, we can outdo RBL financially on every single level, plus the draw of playing in the PL, I think he would be a brilliant signing!

Btw don't know about his aerial ability. He is tall but that means nothing. Have read somewhere that he has quite low percentage of aerial duels won. Not sure if it's true.
