I hope they keep buying more.... then we'll shake the tree and see who falls out - fingers crossed it's Pulisic. We've been linked with just about every attacker they've ever signed!

Phillip will be a direct swap for Aubameyang
I thought Philipp was more of a No 10? Seems like they'll go for Dolberg if they sell Auba.

He probably is somewhere in between striker and no.10. Freiberg spend a decent amount of time on the back foot so it's hard to really tell at times. IMO in a Dortmund system he'll play up top and they'll try to mould him like they did Aubameyang. I actually think he'll be a decent fit if they show a little bit of patience - Freiberg to Dortmund is a very big step up/change. He's a gamble but a pretty safe one. Think he would have suited us too.

Dolberg is another who I don't see as traditional No.9, he can play there but he's a little limited at this stage in his career. IMO he needs to find a few more tricks and build up something more onto his current strong suit which is endless energy and serial pest to the defenders. This is a great off suit but you need a little more.... it's a good stepping stone (a strong sign of team mentality and determination to succeed) though. Ditto above, given time he'll find his feet and I think he could really suit their style.

They'll probably get both for less than what comes in for Aubameyang - as good as Auba is that's a win in my book. Plus they have so much coverage that these two will be given plenty of breathing space to settle.

Now having said all the above it will create pressure on team spots. Something else will have to give.... and I hope it's Pulisic to us.

Oops, sorry that was a little long winded..........

If Pulisic goes, it'll be to Liverpool, IMO. He's said that he really respects Klopp.

He'll learn to respect Poch.

IMO - If he's available I can see us going balls deep. With the stadium sponsorship still to be resolved, potential of the US market and the NFL affiliation he would be a very valuable player for us in quite a few ways.
