Ah cheers matey, he's listed as no.1 on wiki too so like the adebayor number change from 25 to 10 a couple years back it must have been confirmed but just not announced yet.

Would have been well annoyed if vorm had got it! (Nothing against vorm but first choice should bave it, vorm can have, 12, 13 or maybe even the 25 shirt).

Great signing BUT there is no way Lloris will be happy to not play in the Europa, he wants Champions League so the very minimum for him is the Europa, Lloris is world class and deserves to be showcased in EL, maybe unfortunately the club are preparing for Lloris exit next year.....I really hope not...

If we get a group were we have to travel all over solar system again then I'd be happy to have vorm and friedel go but once it gets to knockouts or if we play more glamourously teams in the groups then Hugo must play. No point holding him back just for the prem.

I'm sure Hugo wants to play against big teams in the Europa and we will need him against the better sides

Good news! I really liked him a couple of seasons back when Swansea first got promoted. Hasn't grabbed the headlines as much these days but he still makes for a great backup keeper.

Levy has obviously made another one of his famous gentleman agreements with Hugo. "If we don't get Champions league football this year I'll let you go to our parent.....I mean partner club next season. Vorm will be the replacement

I think the fact it was a 4 year contract and living in London must have swayed him.
If he's on something like £35-40k that's £8m guaranteed for him and his family...
