I might be wrong. I just have Inter-Pirelli, Juventus-Fiat in my head.

no they are majorly owned by a Chinese company. I believe the same company that owned PL tv rights in China which was just cancelled due to lack of funds (or the bs excuse put out by that company)

Even without him I think it’s been a fantastic window. He’d improve us but with Dier, Sanchez and Toby I think there’s ability to have a pretty good and solid duo in there with Tanganga also getting game time to develop. Hojbjerg, Doherty, Reguilon and Bale massively improve the starting 11. We look like we’ve finally got a back up striker and Ndombele has settled in. We have a much better side and squad and a genuine chance of doing things this season.

I tend to agree, but Skriniar would be the icing on the cake. Our weakness is still our central defence.

What’s Skriniars pace like? I’d be a little concerned against fast mobile attackers, paired against him and Dier.

He looked very fast for a CB today. I don’t think I saw him get beat with pace once. Didn’t watch the entire game though (mainly 5-10 mins segments as I was working)

An outlay of 40m (ish depending on what we read) really is a big one in these times so still not convinced this will go ahead as it is a lot of cash. One positive now at least is that the striker is coming in on loan for supposedly 3m fee so thats not a big outlay.

interesting few days ahead

Hart Free
Doherty 15m
PEH 3m (swap)
Bale 15m (loan and wages)
Reguilion 28m
Vincius 3m (loan fee)

So that's 64m spent.

You'd like to think we'd get at least 20m from outgoings, which takes net spend to 44m.

So dropping 40m (ish) on the CB would take spending to 84m.

We can cover that amount I'm sure,it just depends if Levy thinks it a tad too much.

So that's 36m spent.

So dropping 40m (ish) on the CB would take spending under 60m, which I believe is very much doable, Covid or no Covid.
Missed out 28m

You forgot reguillon and if you include bales wages as a sum you should include them all to make it an accurate summary
