Did someone call Karin Rekik as a potential signing for us in this thread earlier? He’s just gone Sevilla

Didn't want him anyway. He allegedly gave his kid a toy Gunnersaurus last Christmas, so joke's on him.

If that was me though I think it would rather spoil the fun. At least keep it going to receive the abuse, which would sort of be a vindication of the wind up.

Yeah I love these accounts at transfer window time. Surely half his followers do it for the laugh. Although I suspect it’s desperation from 99% of them.

Fiorentina have just loaned out ceccherini, a cb, so I can’t see them letting Milenkovic go if there was any lingering hope?

My only only concern is what if we have two injuries to centrebacks(touchwood)...we would be really stretched...

Does this mean we’re signing Kounde? That’s why City didn’t sign him? Let me clutch at those straws a little longer

With January only a few months away, this was never a real priortity, as we have options.

I'm sure Mourinho wanted a CB, but only a top class one, that was an upgrade on what we have. Skriniar was the best option and we'll see if we can bring him in then.

I wouldn't want us to get Rudiger, Stones or anyone else on loan, that meant it would stop us getting the likes of Skriniar or Demiral at a later date.

Our defence does need to get better, but we will be fine for the next few months and I'm sure we will improve.

If we have a few defenders out injured at some point and we were left short, let's remember that Vinicius started out as a defender, in case of emergencies:)

Wait for it, I saw yesterday that we could use Aurier as an emergency CH. Believe it or not he has played in that position previously in his career. 5’9” CH ?

Well, Hitchin had a nice time, at least someone got something worth while to their visit to Milan.

really a shame this one did not happen. But we have had an amazing window nevertheless.
