Modeste was the first name of composer Modeste Mussorsky who penned Pictures At An Exhibition which was turned into a prog rock masterpiece by Emerson Lake and Palmer and Keith Palmer was the subject of a comedy gold thread on this site after he wrote a book about Spurs.

So we have a long and honoured tradition of being linked to people called Modeste.

I respect your authority but can't we compromise and call him Mussorsky M'Bami.

I have been a little bit busy, but M'Bami is a good player, and would add more power to our midfield. We have now sold Ghaly, and that should make way for at least one central midfielder (also after the signing of Boateng). I expect Murphy to leave aswell.

We have now missed out on Fae, who joined Reading, and a cheeky bid for M'Bami would not be a bad option. He has a lot of experience from French football, and I would be a valuble squad player for us.

I don't know how realiable this gossip is, but I would welcome him at The Lane. He is a well known player, though.
