I think if Malbs was played as often and in key positions like Modric, he would have a better score and creation rate. However Modrics possession is absolutely fkn stunning.

But language is there to communicate and you failed to communicate that you thought Modric was any good, when almost everyone could see he was. You communicated the reverse, delusionally. Now you say you knew he was good all along!

I'd say the most important thing he did to get that partnership working was switching our playmaker from Paul "HOOOOFF" Robinson to Luka "twickle toes" Modric :grin:

Always knew they could play together because their styles compliment each other Defoe being a top class poacher and Keano being a top class link man. They just needed a midfield behind them that can keep control of the ball and support them

The thread title smacks of some tragic comedy too..

It is ironic where he gets kicked in the calf and it fractures his leg...Does not exactly suggest he is in manly man territory! This does not help the cause for people who claim he is not too small/weak for the Prem.

But since we spent a record amount to change the (relegation form) team to one that can accommodate Modric, he has been great.

But his ability to retain possession has been absolutely world class. I have never seen us dominate possession like we have this season.

gibbs, the fibula is a thin weak bone in your leg. Very easy to break. Hardly makes him unmanly. If it was his tibia (the big one at the front of the shin) then I'd be inclined to agree with you.

Damn right, Mods would have to be here for another 6 years or so and perform very well throughout these years and produce at least 5 pieces of brilliance a season in order to be in the same sentance as GHod!!
