For those of you who are not sure who Mollie is, I can say she doesn't play for the Spurs Women's Team,...yet ;P
Mollie is my 4 year old little girl who has HLHS, you may have read about her a little bit in the ITK thread when it went all pink and fuzzy
She has been in hospital for the best part of a week due to a hypoglycaemic episode she had at Nursery where her blood sugar dropped to 1.1, they have put a name to it and they have diagnosed Idiopathic ketotic hypoglycaemia, on its own it could mean a few things but in a HLHS child it can mean more sinister things. She has come home as we can do the next batch of tests at home.
After I posted about her in the Pink fuzzy place a few members wanted to club together and buy Mollie some Spurs related stuff as she has really taken to Spurs and Football.
She has had a few parcels and has been very excited when she saw her name on the address labels.

She didnt want to wear the home sock for the pic as her feet were *hot*

There is also a Lilly Cockerel but she is in bed asleep I am told. She also received a voucher which will be put towards a 3rd shirt when it becomes available.

We are all blown away by the sheer generosity shown by this wonderful forum, I have been here along time and even through the bad times this forum has been family, it also a GOOD place mentally (I know right?) for me because it gives me something else to focus on and let me recharge my mental batteries so to speak.

A big thankyou to the following people for donating.

And also to @0v3rl0r9 for organising it all.

Love you guys very much and COYS!

You and your daughter are true champs. I don't know if I could of held up like you.
My son had pretty bad jaundice as a baby, and the treatment killed me.
I rarely cry and I'm of the man up tribe, but that killed me. All the intravenous shit, which was patently uncomfortable, plus not being able to comfort him with language (being a baby he didn't understand), or contact (he was isolated in some kind of incubator thing) destroyed me, and that was only like a week or two.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. All the best to you and your family big man.

He may not have understood but he knew you were there. That will be worth so much more to both of you in years to come.

After Mollies first open heart surgery she was hooked up to more machines than I thought was possible and we couldn't hold her. Her Mum contracted Cellulitis from the C-Section wound and didn't hold her little girl for what turned out to be 2 weeks. Even then it was a half cuddle in Mollies cot. I get how you felt 100% but as Romario said they know you are there, and while they dont understand what you are saying they know your voice and tone.

@neogenisis
was very worthwhile to see that smile on Mollie's face.
I can't even imagine (and i'm not sure i want to imagine) what Mollie, you and your other half have been through.
Just want to wish Mollie, and you guys, all the best moving forward.

p.s. don't forget the complementary tickets when she is tearing it up for the spurs ladies.

Quick update on Mollie.
We had GOSH today for a complete round of scan and blood workups. The weirdest thing happened, her heart function has improved...This took us all by surprise and many tears were shed.
She remains on the transplant list, and these tests results mean at the very least she has more time. We just need to keep our fingers crossed something comes up.
Mollie also wore her Away kit into London today, and for some reason GOSH was swarming with Arsenal fans in full kit wanker mode, and I swear to you all she said as loud as she could *Ewwwww Daddy, that football shirt is diskgusting*

COYS to Mollie!

Mate, I've only just noticed this thread and for what it's worth, I'm proud to have been the one to award your 100th 'Red heart love token'. Molly is a little darling and I know we're all rooting for her. I don't mind admitting, as I scrolled down and saw the picture of her dancing around in her Spurs shirt, I had to reach for the Kleenex. Please keep us all up to speed on her progress, and she'll be in my prayers tonight. God bless you all.
