The one former player that still irritates me to this day, I think it was just his face, is Dennis Wise. I know he was a wind up merchant, but I irrationally disliked/like him, considering he never really did anything particularly worthy of such dislike. His face just popped in my head. Makes me feel violent.... I mean, look.

Robbie Savage. I've never forgiven him for getting Justin Edinburgh sent off...
Vinny Jones. Can't ever forgive him for ending Gary Stevens career...

Does anyone else remember Savage picking his nose while coming off the pitch, only for a long string of snot to dangle though one of his nostrils. He tried covering it and breaking it off but it just wouldn't come out and worse of all, the cameras were focused on hi. The whole time.
