My first time at WHL was when my Dad took me to watch us play Notts Forest in Feb 62. Best memory was Cliffy scoring twice. First time I ever had skate & chips. Could not get skate in South Wales. We had driven up from Brecon that morning. Drove home after the match. Wonderful day for a 9 year old kid.

I remember getting a ticket on the day of the match in the Christian gross days, losing 0-3 at home Sheffield Wednesday. Not such good times

Memories, memories. Yes Dougal we're getting older, but we did see the Double team, Blanchflower, John White, Dave MacKay, Jimmy Greaves, Alan Gilzean etc. and have memories that younger supporters cannot match.

Greaves and Gilzean were signed later. Some of us have memories of the 1951 push-and-run team. As a 4-year old I was taken, by my Gooner father, to the Lane and have ben a Spurs fan ever since. So, I have memories of Ditchburn, Ramsey, Nicholson, Bailey, Robb, Duquemin, Willis and Medley.

I remember the European Cup-Winners Cup tie against Rangers. There was no segregation of fans in those days and I remember a couple of kilted Scots fighting each other over the tops of the heads of the fans in East Stand lower. I also remember a day at Highbury when I wasn't feeling well. I attempted to get out of the ground but couldn't make it and spewed up over the backs of a couple of fans. I hope they were Gooners but apologise if it was one of you. Happy days.

10 year old Mr D sitting in the back of a Ford Fiesta after the 1-1 draw at the Forest (Ossie and Ricky's debut). Stuck in mad traffic the car was getting rocked and spat on. We had a Capital Radio sun visor stuck at the top of the windscreen. It just screamed Spurs! Lol

I remember being left on the steps of the Corner Pin with lemonade and crisps while my Dad and Uncle had a beer or 3 before the game - bloody cheek!

Some of the fashion from back then is truly amazing, I mean what sort of a div would wear a woolly Spurs Tam O'Shanty hat ?

Frankfurt, West Germany. March 1982 I'm told. Lots of German Army personnel there and Brits too.
The Cold War was still in full on deep freeze mode back then,

Standing behind the goal waiting for word to filter round who actually scored the goal at the other end.
Waiting on the Evening news or standard on a Saturday evening to find out the other scores.
Silk scarves, we had class back then.

I've still got the woollen one my sister bought me on my 1st ever game, programme, scarf, and hot dog standing in awe looking at the stadium with goose bumps at the age of 9, shame we lost 2-1 to Sheffield Utd (1973/74).

remember the season we survived beating Chelsea, I was 10 but used to go most weeks on my own those days (wouldn't let your 10 year old out now days like then). we went to stand in the Paxton Rd, was so busy my sister drag me to the Enclosure, within minutes of being in there it kicked off big time (I blame @Grey Fox)

so many things mentioned in here about the times I used to go regular, nearly died the night we beat B Munich 1983/84 season, and then stopped going after that season due to work, health and always being skint. went a few times up to getting a st early 2000's
