For me it has to be Kaboom, when we sold him to Portsmouth most people thought lucky escape but I think most of us would now admit what a player we've got and have missed for half a season.

when we sold him to Pompey he wasn't under-rated - he was just okay. I agree he's excellent now. I also agree with whoever mentioned Steed - he was sorely missed the season after he was sold.

Steven Pienaar - never really had a chance to show what he can do. He is absolute thriving in his role at Everton and good on him for that. It was summed up at the time that a few people were saying that Kranjcar was streets ahead - 1 year on and their careers have clearly gone in different directions.

Now it has to be Benni by pundits and fans alike, I still gin it hard to believe how little credit he gets. We are very lucky to have him.

Kevin Prince Boeteng of late with I think quite underrated but has done very well, and has made a very good career for himself now. Reto Ziegler was another, had a great few years with Sampdoria.

A scorer of great goals, not a great goalscorer will be the summary of his career sadly.

Since coming back to us he has scored 46 goals in 109 games. Very fucking good spell I would say. I don't particularly enjoy watching him play but there's no doubt about his ability to stick the ball in the back of the net

Oooh here I go. Now would be Tom Huddlestone. Best football I have ever seen us play was with him and Modric sitting in the middle of the park. Never found that form again since coming back from injury sadly and he doesn't have any athleticism to mask being out of touch

BAE's a good shout. I can't understand why fans from other teams, pundits etc etc don't rate him. Apart from the odd blip, he's the perfect full-back for me.

Carrick was the most underrated player we've had over the past few years. I remember when United first made a 10m bid I remember lots of Spurs fans saying that we should definitely take it, but I think until we signed Modric we didn't replace Carrick and our team massively suffered as a result.

Of the current squad Sandro and BAE are massively underrated. BAE has never recovered from the reputation he gained in his first half season where he was a bit error prone, and Sandro went under the radar because he didn't play for a while after he signed. For me they are two of the best players in their positions in the league.
