On the BBC website, they've had five polls using the goals of the season from each of the 25 PL seasons. So, '92/'93 - '97/'98, '98/'99 - '02/'03 etc. Those were the five winners from the five polls. Unsurprisingly Arsenal had three in there
I'm surprised that the Goons didn't rig all five polls. Their phone bills must be a sight to behold.

We all moan about Alan Smith always being the pundit for our games live on Sky (to pick but one example), but just to balance the books a bit, on tonight's MotD the Goon fans have had to watch Gary Lineker anchoring Jermaine Jenas and Danny Murphy analysing Arsenal losing at Stoke (for a change). :playful:

Alan Shearer on Mane "I know I'd go for that ball..."

Yeah, but you deliberately kicked Neil Lennon in the face you prick.

Although city still aren't the finished article, they look incredibly scary around the box. You've got to pin them back as fa up the pitch as possible with that embarrassment of riches they have as a goal threat.

Jesus is looking like a very good player. Crucified Lolapool

They do look good in attack, but still vulnerable in defence. I watched the match earlier and Liverpool looked well on top until City scored against the run of play. The sending off totally changed the game.

Agree mate. They aren't the finished article. But some of their players are scary.
