Daniel Levy still wants to give Jose Mourinho time to turn Tottenham Hotspur’s season around, but several sources say “pressure is growing”.
This form - nine points from 10 league games - won’t be indulged indefinitely.

The truth is, the teams performances are getting worse, last night they looked like they just didnt care any more, and that's unbearable to watch. I turned off at half time.

How frustrating. Every game he stays from now on is Levy’s fault not Mourinho’s.

Then the coaching staff, then the groundskeepers, then the high yield crops making up their morning oatmeal... Are the players EVER accountable for anything in that worldview?

Every game where the players look like they could not give less of a shit is on them and their weak-ass mentality.

I think Mourinho isn't right for us, but this squad needs to be totally cleaned out and that's on Levy.

If Mourinho goes it will be two managers that the players have let down. Two managers of very differing styles and man management skill.

....and still people blame the manager and chairman but not the players

All the people you mention here are to blame.

He’s had enough time?

Not by a long shot... I'm curious though, when we were in free fall under Poch, sitting at 14th... were you calling for his sacking back then? If no, then it's a little hypocritical to want Jose out at this stage, but if yes - then you've defeated your own argument by suggesting a replacement manager (if Jose's as bad as you say he is). Finally - If it's not so cut and dry as I presented, then do we just keep shuffling managers until we look like 1970 Brazil instantly?

You know it is possible for a manager to succeed where other managers have failed? David Moyes has done pretty well with the same group of West Ham players that failed under their previous 2 managers. Ironically one of them was David Moyes.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Let's sack Mourinho and then rehire him. Happy days!

Brilliant post. And Levy is not going to care what fans think. Unless there is clear free fall and squad looking to leave like they were under Poch towards the end, Levy will stick with Jose

Thanks man... You're totally right - Levy's gotta be looking at the big picture on this one and not respond in haste to a few bad results that almost all top teams have suffered this season.
