If he has the stamina for it why not play him? We've already seen Pochettino start Son over Kane as a striker once in the cup against Leicester so it's not like he is afraid of doing it if he feels there is a need for it.

And in that game as soon as a Leicester B team bothered to get out of their own half he was forced to bring Kane on.

I fail to see how that is relevant, we also played a weaker team in the first game. Son started as a striker in the 2-0 victory as well. But do you seriously think Dembélé would be a better option than Son or Chadli as ST at this time in the season?

I feel like Dembélé going back on loan is the best for everyone involved. I find it hard to belive that Dembélé would have an impact since he is 19 and joining in the middle of the season.

More about getting him fit enough and adept at Pochball for next season.

That is why there is a pre-season. Joining in the middle of the season didn't help Holtby when he joined. So it's not like it has to be a positive thing. Half a season of first team football vs half a season of training and playing 10 minutes here and there? I think playing is the better option.

It's relevant because it shows how desperately we rely on Kane.

If the deal is for DM2 to be loaned back for the rest of the season, i think that is best for the long run. Coz IMHO he needs at least 6 weeks more to be up to speed to play in Spurs First team (making it mid to late March). So will not see many game time (also the need to grasp MoPo's footballing philosophy) as Njie is also schedule to be back around that period. So let him has a sustained competitive games at Fulham now and have a full Pre-Season at Tottenham next summer.
Why at least 6 weeks?

We rely on one of our best players?!??!?! OOOH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!

If you can't see what's in front of your nose then I give up. Today's game is obviously incredibly difficult and much tougher than all our remaining PL games, EL games and potential FA cup games.

Who needs contingency planning eh? We just all cross our fingers and hope for the best. It's the Spurs way.

As long as each player is willing to get their dicks out I have no problem with it.

IMHO, he will be behind the other Spurs players in terms of conditioning to play the "Spurs way" and also to understand how the team plays. It is like a mini pre-season for him....so i reckon it will take minimum 6 weeks as Fulham plays very differently. But then it is just my opinion.

You are the one who can't see in front of your nose. Our contingency plan is Son/Chadli if Kane gets injured. Answer my previous question, do you seriously think Dembélé would be a better option than Son or Chadli?

Must be a shit contingency plan then if Kane needs to be on the pitch against Colchester.

Haha, you are just going around in circles and avoiding answering a simple question. Shows the quality of your arguments. You are such a waste of time, bye.

Looks like this one is happening. Not 100% convinced by what I have seen so far but will be happy to be proved wrong. The loan back worked fine with Dele Alli so no concerns there from me.

Ah, arguments based on absolutely no knowledge. My favourite kind to read.

Steady lads, yeah.
