Ok, but all we have is what Poch has said right? And what he's said seems perfectly rational to many, and is exactly what we think the club should be doing. It fits with our logic. For this reason we don't need to look for conspiracies to explain his approach. For a few the claim is that he doesn't say what he means, but what he's been told to say. He really wants to sign players, but his boss won't, so he pretends that's what he wants because he's a good team player! But that scenario only works if your start point is that Poch must think the same way as you. Even more than that, you have to think it's totally outlandish that Poch would think the same way as many others on here and elsewhere think. If you think there's a reasonable chance he thinks the way he says he thinks and the way many say he's right to think, then surely you have to chuck all the conspiracy stuff, and just say you plain disagree with him?

Youre complicating this mate. Poch spoke out towards the end of the last window, after Son came in.

Nothing has changed, squadwise, although if poch has tried son and chadli up front in training and he thinks they either individually or together can give kane the rest and recovery he needs then I'm going to have to suck it up. He deserves the benefit of the doubt because he's doing very well.

If M.D.2 does get loaned back then i think that's a shame for this seasons prospects but hopefully the right signing over the longer term.

I'm done going round in circles with the bsodl. At least till he gives me further cause. Haha.

He is worth precisely the amount we will be prepared to pay for him now. We are not a charity, so whatever the amount will be is his worth surely with that amount of time left on his contract? I'm a dim person but even I can work that out.
Your certainly right about one thing in your comments

Thanks for that, and absolutely right Millsey - Quote. He is worth precisely the amount we will be prepared to pay for him now.

You wouldn't perchance suggest Spurs would be prepared to pay more surely? Edit, oh and what a nice guy!

http://www.footballinsider247.com/dembele-passes-tottenham-medical-as-he-joins-for-cut-price-fee/?

Moussa Dembele has passed a Tottenham medical and has finalised the terms of cut-price move from Fulham, Football Insider sources understand.

As exclusively revealed here, the 19-year-old was permission by the Londoners to undergo a Spurs medical on Saturday after the twoclubs agreed a deal.

A Tottenham source has told Football Insider that the club will pay an initial £1.7million plus add-ons for the young striker.

No mention of a loan back so hopefully he stays.

£1.7m is robbery in today's market.

plus add ons so we could end up paying £5m or even more.

But to get to the higher figures he'd have to perform. So certainly good value

Shame if he is going back on loan for the rest of the season but if Fulham won't release him immediately (as they fear relegation if they do) , then that's the deal

Interest from Man Utd, Monaco and Juventus. These clubs don't know what they're doing. Our scout Millsey says he's shite.

BBC say he is going back

Dembele's contract at Craven Cottage ends in the summer, although he will be sent back to the Championship club on loan until the end of the season.
Hasn't rebrab suggested he is not? Rebrab is usually on the money

Levy to agree personal terms, let Dembele pass his medical then shit on Fulham by going back on their agreement and demanding he arrives this window? (y)

If we signed him and loaned him back, would we have any option to recall him early, if Kane got injured?

FootballInsider247? Why's anyone taking notice of that garbage?

Just another trash website making stuff up.

Time will tell I guess. Strange sort of figure to state if this is indeed garbage and goes completely against much of what we've heard so far. Not suggesting at all it is the truth but statements like that have a habit of biting 'one' on the arse. (y)

Well if you bothered to read what I actually said, he's not ready to play for us this season. I'm more than happy we've bought him as he has talent. The original argument was getting in a player now to help us win the league. That isn't Dembele. You have missed the whole point of my argument

The BBC article was 4 hours before the Football Insider, written by Wayne Veysey (formerly Goal) who I always thought had his finger on the pulse with THFC business, so maybe things changed since the BBC article?
