True. I should've said flopped in their only experience of management at a top club in the premier league.
United are on a whole other level to us though. We are in many ways (more than most would care to admit) a souped-up Everton. Why couldn't we be a good fit for a souped-up Moyes?

Assuming reports that Moyes is gonna be sacked are true, do you think we should hire him (assuming reports that we are gonna sack TS are true)?

I think we should seriously consider it. He was my pick to replace HR because I was wary of 'sexy' foreign managers (e.g. JR) who seemed to struggle adapting to the premier league. And his experience managing on a tight budget with Everton seemed to suit Levy's model.

OK he has now failed at MU and arguably been shown up by Martinez's success and style at Everton. But i still think his long-term track record is good and he is a better LONG TERM bet than a lot of the names being bandied about.

Moyes as our manager:eek:you must be joking, if all the AVB haters thought we were dull under him they would be jumping off cliffs watching a Moyes team.

He did a good job at Everton, but from what I've seen of him tactically and in interviews at Manchester United, I wouldn't want him anywhere near Spurs. He doesn't have a winning mentality, and he doesn't know how to get teams playing good football.

Brendan Rodgers and Roberto Martinez have both proven themselves to be more capable of producing good football than him, why settle for a second rate manager?

Looking at attainable managers in this country alone, Pochetinno has more potential than David Moyes and would be a more inspiring choice for fans, players and future signings. Moyes would be a depressing hire for all concerned. We need to aim higher than him.

Agreed on every bit. While the man's been in the face of unparalleled pressure, he has proven himself clueless in the modern game as given evidence by the adjustments made at Everton. People can point to the loanees all they want, but in truth Martinez has implemented good, advanced tactics that have Everton playing far better ball than any equal amount of quality in the loan signings. Moyes is absolutely not the solution for this Spurs club in the state it's in.

We need a manager coming on on a high. Not another one with something to prove. The media love to target us. Imagine how bad it will be with Moyes!

Absolutely. Compare Martinez and Rodgers with AVB and Moyes. The evidence is overwhelmingly in your point's favor.

It is no more insane than appointing AVB after he had flopped at Chelsea...
I agree fully - actually less so, at least Moyes has had success in our league previously

Regardless though I hope Levy has learned from that mistake and will not be looking to repeat it any time soon

Moyes is not the answer in my opinion

I'd rather a management team of Stuart Nethercott and Ramon Vega than Moyes. Plays possibly the worst brand of football in the PL.

Good point, Im in the belief had we got AVB from Porto it would of been a success. Then he would of implemented a system that worked well for him instead of bastardising his own ideas and he also wouldn't of been such a dick imo. Having met some Chelsea players its understandable why he was paranoid.
