I like him, think he would bring good balance to the side. Kendall, I think Barry's contract has little left on it so ten might be near enough. It's by the by because he won't leave Villa for a non-CL team. But then I said that about Bentley, unfortunately I was wrong.

I think Muntari would be a good buy as he can play in a number of positions. I think Redknapp will, when he can, sign players from the Premiership or have Premiership experience. Two other players that I've been hoping we'd be in for is Barry and the other, which seems even more unrealistic is Cahill. So maybe Muntari is the best option.
I'm excited by this summer as I think we are a few players away from a having a very good team.

Eek

Not sure if he would fit into the team at all.

I think for Everton he's seemed to mainly play in a 5 man midfield or in his current position in a kind of 4-4-1-1 formation.

He's also very short so a midfield containing him, Lennon and Modric would be slaughter by, as Kevin and Perry would say, bigger boys!

Oh yeah I've said the same, he's no mug.

But you never know, he may well see us + him as better than Villa + him and have more chance of craking the CL.

Can't see any of the top 4 bidding for him, not after the season Alonso has had.

I fucking love Cahill, everything about him says he should be average but he really makes things happen. I'm a big fan/defender of Jenas but Cahill is an upgrade. I put him in the Lampard-type midfield catagory. Not particularly flash but combative, covers ground and gets you goals.

But he's tiny isn't he?

I love Cahill....if only he were younger :(

Fellaini scores loads from set pieces but he seems to get sent off all the time, very much an Everton player (not a bad thing, moyes builds his squad piece by piece very well)

5:10 isn't tiny really

Ah I thought he was shorter than that - Palacios is also 5'10 so the bigger boys should prove too much of a problem!

These two posts have convinced me, get him in!

well its cahill or Jenas for me I feel they are roughly the same. Cahill is prob. a little better but Jenas is younger

cahill may not be massive but he wins alot more headers than most players. He would be a great addition, but cant see it happening
