Sadly as soon as we signed Soli I could see things not panning out as soon as planned. He was an athletic specimen at 17, with pace and strength in spades, as well as finishing ability. Now, everyone's caught up to him and he's too short to body people. I think he could play as a strike partner but his technical abilities are just not up to par. Yahaya, on the other hand, does not fit the "African wonder kid" stereotype in that his strengths lie in his skill and vision. I think this is an incredibly astute signing.

I still have hope that Coulibaly will reach his full potential. He has the physical tools to succeed but he has had issues adapting to life in England. Maybe having more African players ( Yahaya) around him will help him with that.
