Tottenham Preparing Audacious Bid For Manchester United Winger Nani

AVB eyes compatriot.

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing an ambitious bid for Manchester United winger Nani.
Spurs head-coach Andre Villas-Boas believes the 25-year-old right-sider will fit perfectly into his preferred system and has been encouraged by Nani’s reluctance to sign a new deal and United’s pursuit of Sao Paulo youngster Lucas Moura.
The Portuguese tactician reportedly held discussions with his chairman Daniel Levy about the club’s transfer policy before leaving for the US yesterday and a bid for Nani is believed to have been high on the pair’s agenda.
Levy tried to sign Nani before he moved to Old Trafford in 2007 and is ready to sanction a £25 million offer.

And Villas-Boas believes that United may be willing to do business for Nani.
The former Sporting star has two-years remaining on his current deal in Manchester but is stalling on signing a new contract. United have also made no secret of their desire to land Brazilian star Moura and this may well leave Sir Alex Ferguson with a surfeit of creative talent at the club.
With Luis Antonio Valencia & Ashley Young already on the Red Devils’ books, Nani could be allowed to leave for the right price and Spurs’ new head-coach wants his compatriot to play in a front three, alongside Emmanuel Adebayor and Gareth Bale.
It is unclear whether Nani would be prepared to join Spurs but it is thought the Portugal international is reluctant to leave Old Trafford for a lesser club.
The talented wide-man has made 194 appearances for Man United, netting 36 goals in the process.

would be liking this for sure, but just can't see United selling him to us, even if they were to sell him this summer....

But yeah...Bale, VDV and Nani behind Adebayor would look mouth watering.

You can never have a surplus of talent at a Club if the players concerned wish to remain.

That should be a fun phone call...

Levy: Hey Alex, I know we got off on the wrong foot this transfer window with us taking Fryers off your hands and all, but how do you feel about opening negotiations for Nani?

*Click*

Levy: Hello? Hmm, must've been the wrong number.

I love spurs and to me they're the greatest team ever but anyone who thinks a regular for one of the best teams in the World would come here is deluding themselves badly. The only way this would happen is if we were taken over by some billionaire who was willing to pay players upwards of 150 thousand a week ala the blue scum or city
