Nathan Byrne has joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan.
The right-sided player enjoyed three months on loan with League One Brentford last season where he made 11 appearances.
Can't say I've seen a lot of him, but Bournemouth are a good side and hopefully he can make his mark. I wouldn't be surprised if he replaces Adam Smith, who was on loan at Bournemouth last season, at right back.
9 League appearances before mid September (plus 2 league cup appearances) when he got injured suggests he was nailing down a place in the starting line up consistently.
90 minutes under his belt in a Spurs X1 match yesterday - wonder if his loan deal is still intact after 5 months out. Would be good if it was - otherwise needs to find another asap I guess !
Seen Nathan play a few times in his career, I am sure he will make it at least championship level and maybe the Prem.
Reminds me of a young Danny Thomas, not shy of going forward and smart enough to know there is cover before he sets off. Got a mean shot on him also.
