Well they say the sign of a good team is when they win having played badly. On that performance we must be absolutely brilliant...because we were pretty awful tonight.

Not sure anyone really deserves much credit for their performance tonight apart from maybe Woodgate simply for that awesome tackle.

Still we won and that's all that matters. The fact that we keep winning despite not playing well gives me great hope for when Harry can get a few players in and shape the team as he wants.

Obika looks like a strong but slow player, can't tell how he'll turn out from his display today. Hopefully it benefits his development though.

I for one love to see these cameoes from youth players.

I thoight O'Hara had a great game and both Bale & Gomes had a real confidence builders.
IMAO I'd pick O'Hara ahead of Woody for MOTM.

I am stuck working in Strasbourg this week, I know the French and Germans fought over it but I can't believe they fought to keep it, what a boring old place, and it seems to be a bit of a barren desert as far as seeing any football is concerned just got back to my hotel and logged on to find out the score, doesn't sound like I missed much, still a win is win is a win, nearly into the knock out stage.

Horrible pitch and really slow tempo today which didn't help at all. We got the job done and looked happy to see it out 1-0. I always felt we could have turned the tempo up at any time if we needed to, and score another. But we won and thats all that matters. Save the energy for the weekend.

If Zagreb win it'll leave them, us and Udinese all on 6 points, which could effectively mean qualifiers settled... Although a Spartak win would make for a more entertaining game in 3 weeks time...
