Well to be fair it was mental by Defoe too and he should've had a ban too.

I don't buy this "dealt with in game" business. Its bollocks that if the ref made a terrible decision that it can't be looked at again.

That said, Defoe's bite is different just because he is not a complete wanker. As Jol said, it was a "cheeky nibble".

Thing is, most Spurs and fans and I'd wager every Liverpool fan completely forgot it happened before they realised they needed a straw to clutch. I mean, Liverpool are never going to accept blame for something they've done wrong (I'm referring to Suarez incidents).

It was a stupid thing for Defoe to do, like it was a stupid thing for Suarez to do. Thing is, Defoe's kept his nose clean since then. Suarez sticks out like a sore thumb and it's entirely his own fault. His ban is his fault, no one else's.

Yeah that Defoe bite was bad but the difference is that the laws were applied at the time and it was dealt with. Defoe had never had a brush with the football law before or after and isn't a shit human being, just a bit of a lothario
