Wasn't questioning loyalty to the club, just the ability to "support," or the lack thereof, more to the point.

You care so you moan? Give me a break!

Not a helpful post think you missing the point completely...

My point was Levy messing about trying to shop cheap when we have the money and missing out on better targets as a result. Anyway we had a decent window in the end and only a challenger for Eriksen is missing but possibly Marcus Edwards will come through to help in that regard.

Won't happen. There were very few who did that at the end of last season after making such a stink at the start.
I thought pochettino would be walking by Christmas last year. I'm happy to say i was wrong.
I thought Lamela would never come good but he has.

People want to improve the starting eleven but don't actually realise that it's near on fucking impossible to improve the starting eleven. It seems as if people thought (Danny Murphy included) that because we're in the CL we can magically go out and buy a world class player who will come in and walk straight into the first team...nah sorry, nothing was ever going to change in that regard - all the top players go to teams who have money first and foremost and most of them happen to play in the CL anyway., just because we qualified doesn't mean we can start splashing the cash around.

So improving the first team is difficult if there aren't any players out there, what's more is that the players of course need to fit the manager's need and wants as well as fit within our wage structure, it's not that easy when you look at it.

I'm not missing the point at all, as I made it in the first place.

We have fucktards in this club who will ignore every single positive point put to them and focus solely on negatives, even if those negatives are solely their own perceptions and have no basis in fact. Rather than absorb presented fact, or reasoned argument, they cling tenaciously to their own spurious judgements. These are the same clowns who can't accept players can drop in form, declare they are shit then boo said players. Even should said player's form improve, they'll still slag them off because their sole concern is being right. They don't care for the club, only their personal agenda's.
Then you have the fucktards who bag out the club for not going into debt to feed their idea of "ambition." Their agenda is to see success regardless of the cost. The longevity of the club is immaterial to them as immediate success is all that matters, because bragging rights are top of their agenda.

None of the above provide any kind of worthwhile support, they are the antithesis in fact, exactly the type of person that proves a bellend like Rodney Marsh correct...

A fucktard.

Constructive criticism is fine, even necessary, and criticism of poor attitude most definitely justified. But pillorizing a player off form? Slagging off a new player because YOU don't fancy him? Calling for the head of a Chairman who has spearheaded our development to the cusp of the elite? That is pure fucktard.

And you want to defend that?

I don't think it's me who is missing the point my friend.

People also forget that the same first team from last season can improve this season. That's the benefit of having a young group of players. There's no doubt these players have learnt a lot from last season in particular the way it ended. Everyone seems to have a good head on their shoulders so I have no doubt they will continue to get better. Just as they will continue to grow for next season with Champions League experience this season.

I'm looking forward to seeing this group continue to develop together. I think we have a few players who could all break into world class status around the same time in the near future too.

I'm perfectly calm and I'm not ascribing this to a majority, just a loud minority who go out of their way to be heard because misery loves company. They are the 3 fucktard monkeys, speak no sense, hear no sense, see no sense.

If you haven't seen or heard that then you are seriously blinkered.

I hear people talk about instant gratification generation etc. All the biggest moaners at. The lane are old farts. You are never more than a seat always from some miserable old bastard. I never hear kids moaning in the same way (except those who accompany the miserable old boys).

Whenever I speak to young spurs fans they're always super optimistic.

I am 38.

Ok I get ya... I do like a moan on occasion but I also give the team and club credit when it is due.. I will admit I was unhappy early on deadline day but by the end I was pretty satisfied/ I would have liked a creative number 10 but apart from that Levy did a decent job!

When I went to the Palace match, someone behind me successfully managed to call every player in our team a ****.

LOL, I was absolutely positive you'd pick up on that bit my old China...

You didn't think I'd pass up the chance to big Dad up?

Better A&C?

Dad sends his love, by the way...

Actually he said "tell that gobby **** I'm laughing at him"

Which I'm pretty sure was banter...

Pretty sure...

I did.

He listened patiently, even nodded a few times during my "empassioned" narrative, then sat back and, after absorbing everything, gave his succinct response...

"Fucking 'tard!"

He did listen though, out of respect of course...
