The Daily Fail at it's best yet again. At least I get a laugh reading some of the shite they write. Even the Sunday Spurt were closer with some of their reporting than the Daily Fail.

AVB's right the players should be fucking ashamed, they looked like they stopped caring after half time

That is a truly awful article though, you cant argue with negative shite if it's at least researched and has the potential to be about 10% accurate. That however, written by Ashton (?), is unadulterated bullshit.

One of the papers yesterday said Capoue had been a flop (yes a man who picked up a serious injury in his third game) says all need to know about the quality of tabloid journalism in this country

The players, coaches and AVB should all be ashamed by that performance! So if some players are not happy with what was said I couldn't give a shit, they obviously don't!

However this is going by what it says in this article anyway?!

'This was the season they were meant to keep City, United, Arsenal and the rest within reach. Instead, they are ninth in the Premier League, eight points behind their north London rivals.'

Yep, United are a whole point out of reach... City a massive 2...

is this what the Paddy Barclay 'nay-sayers' had in mind when they said they wanted more cutting edge journalism?

Agree that the article is bullshit, but it's bullshit like this that heaps a lot more pressure onto AVB and the chances are that it's just going to snowball.

I have read some absurd and ridiculous in the past but this is up there with the best of them

And I've seen some pretty absurd management on football, but way we are being coached at the moment is up there with the best of them.

I reckon we see in next two games wether AVB will be here in january/february. If the gameplan hasn't evolved a bit and he remains unable to correct his own mistakes, there is little to no chance of him being at the helm at the end of the season. With no switch in gameplan it would be miracle if he would survive till february.

Then again he might finally react and it might be totally different. But he has to show willingnes to do it now, not next year.

I've never read Ashton write a positive piece about AVB

I'm sure his vendeta towards him came about after AVB owned him in a press conference last year in front of all his media buddies?!

Can anyone recall what that was in regards to?! (& if it was actually Ashton?)
