Betfred have enhanced odds for City tonight in 90 minutes... 12p profit on a £10 bet.

Not really worth it on its own...

BUT they do also have bet £10 pre-game and get free £5 bet in play.

Got on Utd to win both halves on Coral's double your winnings promo after seeing the teams. Probably won't come in, but it's covered on betfair anyway, almost free shot.

Gone at this stage but it was being talked about on the PS FB page earlier. Basically you back one or the other to win the game and if your pick wins both halves, Coral pay double your winnings.

Did you start with just £100? - I'm in need of some extra funds to help with some repayments. I'm still vary that this is just too good to be true and like other gambling, ill be out of pocket of say £100 - £200 if the 'house' wins so to speak. Am up for investing 20-30minutes of my time daily to do this, should I just throw myself in as in the end, I will be quids up unless I right royally fuck up pressing wrong buttons etc..
Like Mark and a few others have already responded, it's not a get rich quick scheme and ideally you want to keep the winnings in the Exchange to build bigger profits. Until you have a good wedge in there you can't take full advantage of the free bets as you need large liability.
However, by putting £80 in the exchange and starting with 2 NCOs (not Paddy Power as Betfair and PP are linked) @£10 each you would make a solid £30/40, withdraw the funds from the bookie (if won) and do the next one.
There is no way of not making money on the NCO offers as long as you follow the PS instructions to the letter, but avoid the advanced ones until you have a large bank as some wagering requirements take forever.

So there's a week and a bit left on our promotion with PS, if you want to take up the offer then now would be a good time to do so :)

(After the promotion period ends, we'll still continue to support this thread, we'll just remove some of the advertising pointing to it and not push it as strongly).

Right, going for it, pay day tomorrow and money in my account to start, let's see how this goes! Will take my time and learn slowly!

Am I correct that the link to Betfair they give in the tutorials is broken?

They have an offer for new customers already on.. £10 for £30 free bets, worth doing right?

There's a difference between Betfair Sports and the Betfair Exchange. I don't think the exchange has any NCOs and you can't bet with Betfair Sports and Lay with Betfair Exchange, you'll have the accounts closed very quickly.

Sorry for the 20 questions chap. Signing up to Coral and the guy on chat has offered me a £50 free bet if I deposit £50. Is that worth it in the long run over taking the standard £5 deposit for a £20 free bet??

Here are the details:

All you need to do is to place your first £50 bet on sports on single or £50 Each-way, double, treble or accumulator (not a named bet such as Lucky 15) at fractional odds of 1/2 (decimal odds 1.5) or greater. Please note that PayPal and Credit / Debit card is the only payment method eligible for an offer.

Depends on the funds you have, if only £100 then don't do it as you won't have money in the exchange to lay the £50 free bet - don't tell the chat guy that though ;)
Literally follow the guide on Profit Squad, if you decline further offers they will keep offering you them, just act like your not willing to risk that much just yet as new to it.

I did the normal NCO with Coral and then got an email offering me the £50 free bet after that had settled. I don't know how they pick who gets what, the £50 is better but you could end up with both.

The £50 offer should give you around £30-35 guaranteed profit. The £20 offer is worth around £14 guaranteed profit.

I would personally follow the £5 bet for £20 free bets as it's excellent practise with smaller bets and would potentially get you the £50 offer later. you would also need a good couple of hundred in the exchange to lay the £50 bets.
Slow and steady with this, make mistakes and it costs money, follow the guidance and you make money.

Thank you both, will hold off and hopefully, I'll get the £50 in later.

Want to do this properly so will take the long road.

Made my first big mistake and wiped out over 1/5th of my overall profit. The odds changed and only partially laid my bet and I badly miscalculated the rest of the stake needed to match the bet.

Just a reminder to be careful what you are doing.

Anyone got one of them spreadsheet templates or know where I can get one from? Just doing my first bets and want to track everything!

All the templates are on the main PS site, but I use a slightly different one to track exactly what I've put into this adventure from my accounts vs what is in the betting accounts and tracks when I've taken money out of the game back into "real life".
A simple Excel sheet showing what bets with who and what odds will do you until you get the templates from the PS site anyway.
