I am thrilled with this appointment. After reading the book he wrote on goalkeeping('The Art of Goalkeeping'), it is apparent that he knows a great deal about the mental approach to the game as well as the physical.

Thankfully we didn't recruit the defence staff then.
I suppose us laymen in the art of goalkeeping should keep it all in context by comparing Hans Segars with the same criteria.Even if it is true you must ask, "What materials was he working with? Are the keepers he was training any good to begin with and did they listen to him?"
