Recre did indeed concede 60 goals. Livorno also conceded 60 and were relegated. Does this mean Amelia's crap? Espanyol conceded 53, for that matter.

not much difference between them and us as in assured goal keeping similar sort of mistakes we were making. (this is what i have read on other sites would not take it as gospel just wondered if anyone else had seen anything)

I went to see if i could get soem footage of their games on you tube.

From that it also looked like they had the same problems we had.

But like others have said, it depends on what you have to work with.

I've just read the bumph on the official site and it actually makes reasonably good reading. The club genuinly seem to have gone about the recruitment process thoroughly. Worst case scenario he can't be any worse than that wanker segers.

Why is he a wanker?

In regards to the 60 goals conceded by the last team he worked with, he only started working there in January. So some of those goals were scored before he started, and also he only had a very short time to work with the keepers. Now he has a full pre-season to work with ours.

from what people have said he's a very intellegent bloke.

Very much so. He has a Masters in Sports Science, and is quite well respected in the Goalkeeping community, having done a lot of work with UEFA and the Austrian FA.

maybe he was employed because he could not just coach the physical side of goal keeping but also the mental side. which robbo has showed makes a massive difference not just to the keeper but also the team as well.

Having read his book, I think this is definitely true. He places just as much, if not more, emphasis on a goalkeeper needing to have the right mentality/personality as well as athletic and technical ability.

looks like he is good GK coach ..

it is even better to get him before signing new GK, because he could offer some good GK in Ramos shortlist.

I really hope we will have very talanted GK next year.

Mehmet, are you a Goalie yourself?

I wish I was that good. I just play 5-a-side with a couple of guys on here and Sunday League. I just know a bit about Hans after reading his book and talking to other goalkeepers on other (goalkeeping) forums. I've also spoken to him via email.
