Watching the players in preseason tonight, the kits have grown on me quite a bit. They aren't as horrendous as they are in the still shots.

I agree and was going to say the same thing. They don't actually look too bad when being worn in a game. At least with blue shorts; I still worry how they'll look with white shorts for Europe.

Home kit looked great IMO. No issues with the whole high waist concern.

Away kit looked great on the youngsters the other day.

Looking forward to seeing the 3rd kit in full.

Maybe it was the grainy YouTube highlights but I thought it confirmed the high waist line for me. Not fussed but it does make the players look leggy.

Just seen the highlights, the kit looks absolutely fine IMO. The test will be when it's paired with the white shorts... :nailbiting:

This suprises me as it's not the way it usually turns out with us all moaning about how horrible the kits are gonna be and then totally loving them EVERY FUCKING SEASON. :D

It looks like the players have their shirts tucked in. It's like a team of Scott Parkers.

If that third kit is real I'm all over it. The other two are pretty pants.

The elite version is really nice. Much better fit and material.

Well, I absolutely loved last season’s kit(s)— all 3 of them (I will always hate the red AIA on our home shirt, but- all things considered- Nike’s design was excellent, and we looked great). This season’s kit- however- is fucking horrendous imo. The home would be nice if it was all white minus that blue-fade nonsense at the bottom, and the away would be nice if the sleeves were removed.

Indeed, you might say this year’s kit is gorgeous- as long as you have a pair of scissors handy.

The kit they played in against Roma makes them all look like they are grandpas with their shorts pulled up high over their belly buttons. That blue fade on the shirt gives the extended look of the lower torso. I thought I was watching a team wearing a retro fit.

elite shirts that are exactly the same as what the players wear for matches.
Not exactly, to sell clothes it’s a legal requirement to have the label with wash details/composition etc.
The elite shirts sold have to have these.
The shirts the players wear do not.

Usually I dislike the new kit until I see them play in it, then I think it looks good out on the pitch and I’m happy.

This year it just looks stupid. Like others said, looks like they are playing with their shorts pulled up to their nipples.
