I believe that is the Match day kit (dryfit tech), i doubt the standard retail kit will have all the perforations and dryfit texture,

True enough. I prefer it to the weird efforts from Under Armour. It also looks a lot nicer in that picture above.

It's a nice shirt. It's also the exact same design as Man City's. I'm not a fan of the same template for everyone approach and prefer kits with a bit of individuality.

If they made unique kits for everyone it would cost them a fortune. Their profits would be low. We'd get a fraction of the money we're getting.
Look at the bigger picture.

The away kit looks nice but overall I'm disappointed. I'm afraid it's as I feared with Nike taking over. All Nike seem to do each year is have two template designs that they just flip and reverse the colours on. Our home kit is the England kit with a different colour scheme, it's not even a 2017 template.

At least with Under Armour we had some bespoke designs.

UA are new, they can afford unique designs. If and when they get more teams, they'll be like Nike, Adidas and Puma.

I don't buy the whole unique kits for everyone would cost the provider a fortune argument.

1. This is Nike. This stuff is already made dirt cheep to begin with.
2. It doesn't take that much effort and doesn't need to be a big divert from the overall template.. Just make the shoulders/sleeves navy blue and our kit would stand out more.

That the biggest/second biggest athletic wear producer on the planet doesn't want to put more effort into a kit made as part of a big, lucrative sponsorship agreement is just lazy

At least it doesn't look like someone has ran over it or pissed along the side of it. I don't see that much more they could have done with it that wouldn't ruin it.

the shield and logo isnt as bad as i first thought and works well on the blue aeay top. imo they needed to match thecwhite ba kground to the shirt colour on the home one, or have like the old bill nic gate design faintly showing on the back of the logo.

On a screen it looks very boring but it will come down to the fine details when seen in real life. If it is well made with decent fit then I think it will be very nice kit. Much rather this than the 'echoes of glory' shirt, give simple over that any day
