Really? That's the worst of the bunch IMO. Hate button up collars on football kits.

That's where we differ then. I love polo collars on football shirts. Classy, and it keeps material away from your throat when playing. Not a fan of t-shirt collars at all. Boring, cheap-looking, and extremely frustrating when some slow tosser has to grab your shirt from behind to close off your trachea to give himself a chance. I even like V-necks, but t-shirt is no good for this last reason in particular.

I thought last year's home collar would grow on me, but if anything it actually declined. Thought it was rather silly looking.

Yep 100% sure- You can see that the Bale picture is on a screen- was leaked before and people were sceptical IIRC.

Interesting. No idea how I missed that. Well, nonetheless, the extent of this round being shown is leaps and bounds above anything the last two years.

Can't say i've ever experienced that tbh. I don't like the collar's flapping about while playing, they're just a nuisance. I think the collar on the light blue away kit this year was our best for a while. Nice and simple.

What i will say to the people who don't like the kits...

I'm not a fan of them particularly, but at least with UA they are embracing our history and paying tribute to our past in the kits that they produce. Not many other kit manufacturers would bother going into this much detail:

Most kit makers give teams generic kits that you see all over the place in other colours. Even with Puma, everybody's favourite spurs kit was a generic one:

Personally, i love the fact that our kits are tailor made and some thought have actually gone into making them!!

Cheers for the mention ;)

Here's a drawing I did of Eric a few days ago and just updated with swirly shoulder bits

Yeah, I agree actually liked that collar a lot. I liked the design of that shirt a lot, and liked it on the players, just not a color I would wear haha.

It's really the appearance of the "hoop" though that I don't like, like this one:

Awful IMO. So cheap-looking.

On the matter of playing in the kits though, what position did you play? That may have something to do with the difference. I alternated between an attacking mid and striker, with more reliance on speed rather than dribbling, so faced a lot shirt-tugging from behind.

Not a big fan of the hoop, prefer the v neck, but i'd still take that over the button up.

Played as a Defender/Holding midfielder, so was definitely the one pulling the shirts :D

Lol diiiick hated that shit. Never tugged on a shirt once in over twenty years of playing the game, and going.

Good stuff. As long as we can agree the hoop sucks, that's all I really care about.

Home shirt will look something like this on the players. (still trying to improve the look of it & will try to add the detailing on the chest/shoulders soon)

Don't be so ridiculous. Townsend would only shoot outside the box- do it again with him closer to the half-way line.

I thought that the Bale one didn't leak until hours before the reveal. People found it online along with the Dempsey one because UA had it up early....something along those lines.

It was definitely a few weeks before the official reveal.
