The results are going to be better his year but I still don't think we'll be as exciting to watch as we were in Redknapp's last year. I really enjoyed the death or glory tactics back then, it was great to watch until we fell to pieces at the end.
The fan of a football club is a lot like making love to a beautiful woman.

Disappointment and ridicule result after premature ejaculation.

would love Bale as well as the current squad, it would be crazy good.

we had a 1st team that consisted of 4 world class players with King,Modric, VDV and Bale. Good times and good football.

Now we only have the one, and he's a Goalie, but hopefully we'll develop more from within this young squad

There's no doubting that Bale would be a superb player in our squad but if I was to chose between the side we had last year and the one we potentially have this year I would have to pick this years.

Throughout last year (even in the early part), I thought we looked one dimensional and lacked fluidity in our movement and passing. We relied on Bale to produce magic, and he did so fantastically. We were a one man team as much as many tried to deny it and most likely it has taken his sale for us to realise otherwise.

As a general rule I try to keep my feet on the ground about us and have realistic expectations of our team and the signings and let them do the talking in performances. But I simply just can't not get excited by what Levy, Baldini and AVB are creating with us. As a young Spurs fan I have missed the glory days that we have had in the past, but this is genuinely our best squad(not just side) potentially that I have seen for us in my life.

It's an exciting time to be a spurs fans no doubt. The club is growing, financially safe, new stadium on the way, growing market, top top new training ground, top young manager, great DOF and chairman, and a young side filled up with some of the absolute genuine top quality players who are internationally recognized.

Thank you Bale for your time with us, it's been great seeing your development and masterclasses, but thank you for your sale giving us the opportunity to create more history for the club.

COYS!

Definitely new look, if we still had Bale then we'd have a far weaker squad and wouldn't be watching all these brand spanking shiny new players run about in a Spurs shirt. As a team we've improved every aspect of our team and will become less predictable allowing us to challenge on all fronts.
I think once Lamela adapts, we will add another dimension to our play too. This is a very exciting season.

Did 'arry have tactics? ;)
I read an interview of an former player from West Ham days...he said 'arry didn't know much about tactics...

That what I mean about death or glory really. It wasn't so much a tactic it was more a case of everyone going for it. Both full backs would push up at the same time we would throw VDV on the wing now and then so we could play two up front. It was madness! It was exciting even though you knew it would end in tears sometimes.

I'm prepared to give Lamela and whole team time...they have been together such little time. I'm so happy if we get wins in the early rounds. But I accept if we sometimes lose. Patience is the key...let's show our support in every situations of the season! COYS!

Loved what Bale did for us, but it was the right time for him and us to move on. I can't wait to see this team come together and really start playing like I hope we can.

Hopefully that will start today against Cardiff. COYS!
