A player doesn't have to be signed to the club to train with us. Beckham trained with us when playing for LA Galaxy. He was clearly expecting things to be agreed, as did the club, eventually. Fans don't appreciate that these things take time and we're too eager to call a deal confirmed before it's actually done. Look at the Paulinho transfer.
