Can anyone currently waiting to go on one of these virtual tours please ask if they have plans or ideas in place to ensure the prawn sandwich brigade are all seated before kick off to avoid the cock wombleness that happens at Wembley.

TIA.

Also i hope the stadium roof is lined with lead to block mobile phone an internet signals whilst the match is on. :bag:

I presume the 61,461 seats are excluding those retractable ones.
Would love if there were exactly 39 retractable seats so we have a round 61,500 capacity in football mode.

In NFL mode we lose the first few rows of the South stand, so probably 60k for NFL.

will we loose the rows for NFL?

thought the retractable pitch leaving the NFL pitch was deep enough

would prefer it to be steeper... but beggars cant be choosers I guess. Or rather, fans cant be decision makers!

So the middle tier is entirely prawn sandwich, and some of the lower tier as well?

I think only a very small amount of the lower tier i.e. that tunnel club. The rest I think is no different to the current stadium, where the corporate section is the middle area on the sides. I'm hoping to sit where I currently am which is east lower, close to the hardcore support, which I think gives a good compromise between atmosphere and view. Depends how pricey it is though. In some ways I'd like to be in the new Kop stand, but I go with my Dad and I'm well past the stage where I want to stand up all game.

I know the club have gone on about making the new stadium as conducive as possible for atmosphere and being closer to the pitch etc. However, that will only be in comparison to other similar new stadiums such as Wembley, Emirates. We are still going to lose some of the atmospherics of WHL. It's inevitable.

another one done the SPVRS

imran on ftl: So i went to spurs today for the virtual tour

First thing is the new ground is coming along, had a good view from Lillywhite house and took some pictures
Did the virtual thing which was amazing and then of course you get to the premium seats
Had a look at some of the seats and prices

Decided to get one in the West Stand for 3 years, you can get 5, 7 and 10.
You get priority away tickets as a certain number will be allocated to premium seat holders only

Couple of other tit bits
What Ben said about the Qatari's is true. They are in discussions (heard this at another meeting)
Qatar Airways stadium??

Also high hopes for an NFL franchise coming to the Lane

I love the new stadium, absolutely amazes me the more i see of it ...... but every time i look at the single tier stand, the curve at the back just doesn't look right it reminds me of the stands at Huddersfield Town's John Smith stadium:.

I know there's meant to be something about letting light in the corners and viewing angles but i just think if seats filled the corners it would look even more of a beast and might add another 1000+ seats.

It reminds me of Wigan in a similar way.

Both were designed or built by Alfred McAlpine.

If Qatar airways buys the naming rights, I hope the name is chnaged to something like Qstadium or QA Stadium.
Qatar is such a tainted name in footballing world nowadays. Moreover, name is a country's name. How odd would be called Qatar stadium for a stadium in London...

But from Qatar airways perspective, after paying huge money, and to not have their full brand name doesnt give them the exposure and doesnt make sense.

I hope we take the right decision.
