Of course it does depend on the time of day, but in that image, the sun is coming from the northeast, which is would only do very early in the morning and only at a few times of the year.
In which case someone should really turn off the floodlights.

if we wanna be really eco friendly we should have pedals on our seats and have to generate our own electricity during games. Although the lights would dim around 85 minutes.

Didn't think this through.

A Spurs mate who i sit with works for Mace (but not on this project). His words, "Re-assured, it WILL be delivered late". In his opinion Mace have a long track record over over running and he has little confidence it'll be ready after 1 season. But that's not to say we couldn't move in, it's just there's a good chance it won't be finished

I also have a friend at Mace and he's heard the same thing - basically everyone at Mace is trying to avoid working on the project because the pressures/tensions are so high

What time of year would it come from the north east? We are in the northern hemisphere. Wouldn't it come from east or south east or am i missing something?

Edit - you lot have fucked my brain up. I'm picturing land of the midnight sun and how the world spins and how far north we are. This isn't good.

Right so after some research and help from this diagram

Yes it can rise and set in the north east. But it would probably be too low to create the shadows seen in the image.

Edit - fuck that was the wrong image. Just trust me as i have a nose bleed. Think of north being at the bottom of the image.

Reckon the stadium will pay for itself once Mace have paid up for the late running penalty clauses - away you go Danny boy!

Theres some proper nerds on this forum...lol Who actually bothers checking where the sun would be on the horizon at a particular point in time in order to determine the shadow on a CAD image. lmao. respect! Some people seriously have too much time on their hands.

Love the image and wasn't knocking it. But get me thinking when i've had a few i take it to another level. Then wake up in a police station with no clue how i got there.

Yes, it's weird, but the angle of the earth's axis and our latitude means that the sun sometimes rises north of east and sets north of west. The geometry is too complicated to explain and it's been years since I had it explained to me well enough to get a proper grip on it.

As a gardener - and when I was designing my house - I keep an eye on sun angles. So I've checked it out in real life.

Just trust me as i have a nose bleed.

Literally? Serious question.
