Key word is 'rough'.Is that our big Kop stand? It looked more amazing in the original plans

It does look amazing. You're just not considering the scale of the whole thing. That's going to be massive.
Yep, look at the size of the goal and imagine any keeper stood in front of it. Things massive.
The trouble is, there's no space to extend back and it would be very difficult to have a square end on an otherwise oval stadium, which needs to be that shape to fit the space efficiently. I agree, it's not as imposing as, say, Dortmund's kop in terms of what we've seen, but it's still better than a big soulless bowl with 4 identikit stands like the Emirates. Not that keen on the way it curves down in the corners of I'm being honest. I know they do that for sight lines but it won't look as daunting especially with the big gap between the top row and the roof allowing loads of light to come through.

Disgusting - I want my warm Carlsberg from a plastic bottle forever. No to change!Pretty sure I read an interview with one of the guys from Beavertown who said they'd been in discussions with the club.
It's a tough call, I know what you mean, but the bits that break it up don't actually form separate tiers, they are actually areas for disabled fans. So unlike a normal tiered set-up, with advertising, boxes or an overhang, it's just a different type of fan accomodation. Not only that, in so many stadiums (like White Hart Lane) the disabled seating is a total afterthought, either right by the pitch or other equally bad positions from a sightlines/atmosphere perspective. I for one am glad that there will be a choice of seating location around the stadium for fans of all abilities and that fans who are equally passionate but simply not able to sit in regular seating will have the chance to sit amongst the most fervent supporters.I love the kop idea, however the narrowness of the actual 'kop' on the images we're seeing looks a little odd imo. It's only going to be a lot for about a third of the width of the stand

no idea if true or not, interesting nonetheless. Would not mind Nike as sponsor
Saw this too, not sure if it would be as simple as being called The Nike Stadium in the same way as Bolton had with The Reebok. I'd be ok with that if it was but hopefully we can think of something better between all parties.
Nike was the goddess of victory. I have no problem being called the nike stadium.
Good point, I like the way you've looked at it and certainly agree to a large extent. I just think some others might see it differently. Although I guess we could argue that it's hardly any worse than being called the Uber stadium or Qatar Airways stadium
Would take Nike over Qatar any day. They're still by no means angels, but they've done a lot over the years to combat the massive sweatshop and sustainability issue they had.
And put all those poor indian kids out of work.
If it is to be called the nike stadium or similar doesn't that restrict our options on our kit supplier? Surely nike would stipulate that we must take their kit, I can't imagine us playing in an addidas kit in the nike stadium.
