Talking about Tunnel club. It seems that the players are not happy with the idea and the Media seem to think that there is a violation there somewhere. It could cause problems

Isn't that just media speculation though with no real source?

I actually think it will give us an advantage. Our players will quickly adapt to it mentally but opponents will have a new experience to deal with. We should make sure we leave opponents waiting for us in the tunnel knowing that prying eyes are behind the two way mirror ;)

Quite. It's merely a shame that membership of Club Stalker is restricted to well-heeled, well-behaved types. No-one likes a mirror that shouts abuse or takes the piss. IIRC the Brothers Grimm wrote a fable on that theme.

To be fair it'll likely be sound proofed...

I think its better if the opponents simply see a mirror and cannot see or hear anything the other side of it. The important thing is that they know that anyone on the other side can see them. The rest is up to their imagination - they will unnerve themselves. If there were a load of vocal supporters giving it to them large they'd take it in their stride.

I can't help feeling the uncertainty over where we'll be playing next year has robbed us of a proper farewell to WHL. If it turns out that it will be coming down after the United game we'll only have that one game with the certainty. I know West Ham's situation was different last year because they were changing location but they got a proper year to say goodbye to Upton Park, and I feel a little chested we probably won't get that.

I see it differently. We've had all season to get used to the idea of this being the last and enjoy WHL, but now may get an extra bonus year.

Personally I think we will go to Wembley and that Levy is just playing hardball with someone.

The deadline is now April 30 (the day of the NLD) and I suspect they'll announce the day before or in the morning that it's going to be the last season at the Lane, so the crowd/players will be even more up for it.

I quite like that there's very little fanfare. Sort of drives home that while the stadium is brand new, we're not actually moving at all, just repositioning ourselves.

We are Tottenham, from the Lane!

Particularly as I have just agreed in principle to pay up to £81 to see what I thought was going to be the last game at the Lane.........

If i have to pay that and only get to see us crowned champions I'm going to be massively annoyed :D

I have been told that the demolition teams will be in immediately after the United game. The equipment used for the demolition will be on site prior to the United game. Make of that what you will.

So the stands will be wired with explosives before the game?

Could it be that in truth Spurs are not moving out of White Hart Lane. They are just having four new stands. To me we are not moving. So what is all the fuss about? Nobody got all sentimental when the other stands were redeveloped? In two years time I will still be going to the lane because we will not have moved.

Bit of OT old WHL that just popped up.

Edit: Action from the Tottenham v Rangers testimonial match in 1986, held on behalf of Paul Miller.
