The artificial pitch is also used for events, concerts so will earn more cash than just 2 NFL games. And the 2 NFL games will be needed to as proof of concept for the contract / franchise I imagine

It is a worry. I'd be happier if they said for just 2 NFL games a season, we will stick to a traditional pitch,
and install the retractable pitch later when and if a proper franchise is signed.
We've had american football at WHL and will be playing at Wembley after these games too, and it is not ideal,
but the pitches today seem to hold up a bit better.

This roof installation seems risky too - it all has to lift perfectly or the compression ring will be destroyed - and of course everything has to wait for the south stand to go up before they start.
Of course these cabled roofs are thin and attractive, but we only have a year and the traditional steel frames are a known quantity.

I'm no engineer and risk adverse, so would have looked very carefully at these 2 features and weighed them against what exactly the objectives were. Perhaps time and money are not the most important factors with this project - "this is a piece of art, sunshine...."

The thing is that with Computer Aided Design measurements can be very precise. Whilst every new structure has a little risk, they are more likely to be financial rather than structural. It will be fantastic.

Do not worry my good man, it's going to be a visual feast.

Not many people on site at the moment. I would have thought that they would be flooding it with personnel while the weather is good. Not like we are ahead from what I'm hearing..

Here we go again folks - this weeks productivity. Looks like they have gone as far as they can go on the terracing on both the East and West Stands. Roof brace seems to have gone as far as it can as well. Be interesting to see what they concentrate on next. My guess would be the South Stand, but what do I know!.

It would be good if you could give EJG from SSC the credit he deserves for these vids which he puts out weekly. Just saying

just sharing them - never said I produced them. And I have given him credit on his channel.

The thing is if I didn't know, I would have thought you did it, thats all. You post it on here so give credit on here as well. something like "Thanks to EJG from SSC"

Okay, point taken and don't want to spam the thread by rumbling on. All I will say is that I have not been the only one sharing these, albeit I probably have in recent weeks, as I follow the channel and share them if no one else has by that time. It never even occurred to me that anyone could think I could have produced something as good as that, let alone try and take credit for it - I would not know where to start!!.

Chaps, please keep sharing, I think Bulletspur made a good suggestion to add a credit tag when posting, but I for one fully appreciate that there are those out there that are making these and also those out there that are finding and posting them here which is the only place (other than the official web cams) that i come to look for updates.

What are the grey cranes in the picture on the north stand bowl camera? Surely they can't stay there

We have to do as much as possible in outer constructions before December.Once the winter starts, the possible snow & holiday season would slow things down drastically.

South Stand steel construction is really deceptive looking. Its almost like nothing happening yet from aerial pics, but more focussed pics shows the level of work thats already done. Also can, clearly make out, where the 3 split retractable pitch will slide in..

Would not expect to be ahead. We are on target, with a build as complex as this, that's all we will ever be.

We have not had proper heavy snow in North London for almost 4 years.
