I’ve always thought so. The lower tiers look the same sort of rake as the old WHL to my un-tutored and amateur eye.

*My other eye is of course much superior. o_O

Do stadiums still need to have pitchside access for ambulances/fire engines, etc?

I quite like how the South stand doesn’t join with the rest of stadium. It makes it more of a separate entity and hopefully create a special atmosphere too. I’m not a huge fan of the bowl stadiums, they all look the same as one another.
