The Times are reporting that we have until 31st May to trigger option to play at Wembley again next season.
Also saying that the PL are willing to waive the ban on playing home games at more than one stadium due to possible delay.
This would suggest a month or two at Wembley, then into the new stadium.

Wembley is becoming a turd that will not flush

Or even an estranged girlfriend who wont accept that it is over.

"just give us a few more months, spurs. Please?"

That's ridiculous if true

I think the relevent point is that we haven't triggered it.

Wasn’t there some recent ITK that had said we had sorted plans to cover any delays? That might tie to that.

We can't play in two different stadiums in the prem in one season. We won't use Wembley then, move as we simply can't. And that would be a disaster for spurs.

Wasn't there a post recently that we're still renting Wembley for another season? Surley Levy & co has foreseen that there could be a issue with the stadium being ready by august

Errrr, it’s not the end of May (yet)
I know that but we haven't just arranged it this month so it's been in place probably for over a year yet with two weeks to go we still haven't triggered it.
Now our Daniel might just want to hold on til the 30th to trigger it but if he knows we won't be able to get home then I doubt it and he would know that by now.
This is a bit of news which means nothing more than a contingency plan six months ago but when repeated now it seems much more sinister when I don't believe it is.

Rules can be bent and it's slightly different to last year as it will be a continuation of this season 17/18?

Absolute rubbish that we will be able to play in two different stadiums.

Lets say for example next season has just ended, we had started our premier league campaign with four games at Wembley, two of those games were -

(This is all hypothetical to prove a point).

Spurs 0 - 0 West Ham
Spurs 2 - 3 Burnley

New WHL was finally opened for business and we moved back after those games.

These two results happened in our new stadium (only an example) -

Spurs 3 - 0 Wolves
Spurs 5 - 2 Cardiff

At the end of the season both Burnley and West Ham survived by the skin of their teeth and finished 1 point ahead of Wolves and Cardiff who both went down.
Wolves and Cardiff are in uproar because they feel Burnley and West Ham had an advantage having played at Wembley the season before and were familiar with the stadium whereas new white hart lane was unfamiliar and thats why they lost.

All hypothetical i know but this scenario could definetely happen. It has to be a level playing field right across the board.

No team can be seen having an advantage / disadvantage,

Really can't see the FA giving us this option. Sets a prescendence. And given Chelseki are about to head down a similar path re renovating and using Wembley, it would be a dangerous path for the FA to tread.

Nithing to do with the fa. The premier league rules are governed by the premierleague chairmen. Any change would need a 2/3 majority vote.

I've seen media reports that the PL Chairman (Scudamore) actually has the right to waive the rule without the 2/3 vote that would be required to repeal it - no idea if they're actually right or not though.

That's what I meant, EPL not FA... well in honesty I don't really know much of anything. I'll stick to building, I know about that.

I’m amazed there are people prepared to put their necks on the line and say something definitely will or won’t happen. I honestly don’t know - just presented what has been written. ?

This coupled with the ITK from Edmonton earlier that said Dan ‘has a cunning plan’ If we needed some extra time leads me to think it may well be true. I thought I’d seen the last of Wembley on Sunday so nothing I want more is to start the season back home.
