I know we have seen many post about this, but will the pitch actually be moved back under the stadium that much. the NFL is only twice a year at the moment, and other events will be held mainly during the close season due to weather

I have no information at all but I was thinking the club could take advantage of the storage area by placing permanent grow lights and maybe even automatic grass cutting systems or selective weed killers etc etc in place within the storage area so that pitch remains absolutely immaculate. (Also stops it from freezing etc as well. I'm not sure if we even are using under pitch heating either or if the trays are kept warm in storage? Or are players less likely to be injured if under pitch heating is on in cold months?)

No idea if this is their plan though, but the grass will need regular maintenance one way or another. Realistically maybe some will be done within the storage area using automated systems and some will be done the old fashioned way.

I love the idea that it would be all automatic and ridiculously state of the art. (Imagine using the grass rollers to make a Spurs cockerel or writing Tottenham Hotspur or less desirable, a sponsor into the grass using an automatic system for example). Probably won't be that advanced though.

Levy has sorted an exponential cloning machine. It's now 38 million.

(and we can still only see about 3 of those feckers on camera).

Did see similar in Scotland last season - Hearts were due to play home to Partick Thistle 3pm on a Sunday after expansion works on their ground. Was only signed off, certificate granted and the game confirmed as going ahead at 8am on the day of the game!!

Just seen Forest Green Rovers are 'Carbon Neutral' and have solar panels on their stand roof.

Just struck me that I've not notice any eco-aspects of the new stadium, which is odd. Surprised Levy wouldn't pay out for some equipment to harvest free electric.

She was referring to the Colosseum in Rome, i.e., an arena of gladiatorial intensity, not some bloody suburban auditorium somewhere called the Coliseum. Idiot journalist.

The reference to them being "on their knees" was about the financial non-viability of the project when lenders fled the market after the banking crash.

There's a fair amount of self-congratulatory spin there, but the narrative is basically correct.

And it's good finally to have confirmed what many of us thought, which is that £850m is the cost of the whole NDP, with the stadium itself accounting for 40%-45% of the total.
Colossal mistake?

They only got that as they had the council planning dept in their back pocket. The police were going off their nut that it was allowed to happen. Probably one of the worst run projects in the history of construction. It's nearly a year since their initial completion date and it's still not finished.

I'd also add that the SFA are a complete joke of an organisation and allowed this to happen. The Premier League would never stand for that.

It’s just the gap between the two steal parts that hold the windows.

If you look down they’ve put a silver piece between them.

Work is due to begin on the microbrewery on Monday, one of my customers at work has the contract.
Not sure if anybody cares but thought I'd post anyway!

Now that's what I call important news!

I'm guessing this is the fitting-out: installing the brewing equipment, signage, serving stations, etc. I think the space has been constructed and finished already, some time ago.
