The club tend to say a lot without saying anything at all.

Thus lengthy, yet rather meaningless minutes.

In fairness to the THST board, they were at the meeting last night and given membership fees are not sufficient for them to quit their day jobs (despite Harry Hotspur's beliefs to the contrary) I don't think they've had much time at all to write it up.

A brief summary would be nice but deep down we know the summary. "all will be revealed in due course". It's the lengthy write up that allows us to speculate mindlessly. To take the test piles debate to the next level. This is what we really crave.

How long does it take to type up a set of sodding minutes?!

Crapest job in the world

I've still got two sets from February sat staring up at me from my desk.

Also, the longer you sit on them, the more you can change them to suit your agenda, as people's memories of the event itself fades.

That smile on their face, though, let's you know that they need you. There's a truth in their eyes, saying they'll never leave you. The touch of their hand says they'll catch you, wherever you fall.

We are delighted to announce that a private agreement has been reached for the purchase of Archway’s property –

EDIT: Suppose it all depends on how much 'later' this year. Hopefully the summer

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, Archway Sheet Metal Works Ltd and the Josif Family (Archway) are delighted to announce that a private agreement has been reached for the purchase of Archway’s property on Paxton Road by the Club.

In order to allow Archway to relocate its business appropriately, the Club will not take possession of the land until later this year.

Almost certainly the pragmatic deal I suggested at the time of the CPO appeal being in oour favour - we give them 6-9 months to help them relocate whilst they agree a sensible market price related £ deal.

Works for both parties and avoids further trips to court which take time and we now have firm dates to plan round as to when w3e get posession of the centre of the new pitch.

Also helps the financing to be closed - now an agreement in place to gain posession as welll as legal ttle.

Well I never! Having made a few posts as to why this wouldn't make sense I've been proved completely and utterly wrong, I still don't understand it but at least it's good to see the club are taking control.

Really hope we get to see these new plans soon, why would the club keep teasing us like this?

NORTHUMBERLAND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT UPDATE

Posted on 31 March 2015 - 17:30

We were delighted to announce earlier that we have reached agreement for the acquisition of the final piece of land required to complete the land assembly for the new stadium redevelopment scheme and will take possession of this land later this year.

We shall engage with our financial advisors, planning consultants and Haringey Council to progress matters now that we have certainty of possession.

As we have previously reported, the Club has used the intervening period during the CPO process productively in order to refine the detailed design of the stadium, which was originally produced in 2008, to ensure it is optimised and that it meets the latest technical requirements and improvements in stadia design.

We have already commenced pre development and site clearance works and will shortly submit, to Haringey Council, an application for a minor material amendment to our planning permission for consent for a basement level on the new stadium site.

Our intention is to move the already consented car parking into the basement level, alongside plant and furniture storage, in order to allow us to free up space at the ground floor level to be allocated to other operational requirements including enhanced media facilities and extended player changing areas.

Chairman, Daniel Levy said, “Our commitment is to find the best solution for the Club, our supporters and our community. It will be our new home for many years to come and we want it to be world class.

“We are aware that both our fans and the local community are eager to see the stadium delivered as soon as possible and we shall be working to do so. I must however urge patience in the interests of getting the best possible outcome for all and ensuring that we progress diligently. It is a hugely complex and large-scale project."

We look forward to updating all stakeholders in the coming months.

So does this mean there is no capacity change/major design change?

I've never fully believed there has actually been a capacity change and if there was it would be minimal by a few hundred seats rather than the 5-6k that's been suggested.

But this statement doesn't hint either way if there is a change or isn't

Reads to me like a 'holding statement'

Basically says we're agreeing minor changes now, we'll let you know when we put in for a more major planning change - but no info on the big stuff now

Thinking about it a little more, Spurs will want to confer with Harringey planning in order to pre-agree any significant changes to the stadium design before sening in a formal proposal - something that might not have been politic to do whilst the CPO was going through.

Now the CPO is over, it just depends how long Spurs-Harringey discussions on any changes take before a new planning application or more substantial amendments to the existing is submitted.
