Well, if it does happen, I'm looking forward to the Coca-Cola Hotspurs Stadium sponsored by M&Ms, opening in 2019.

Wembley hold 70-80k for NFL games - would we build a stadium with that capacity and facilities?I personally think Wembley would have to pull out some amazing tricks to stop us now. How can they compete with a purpose built stadium with NFL in mind?

Is there even space for something like that?
The only advantage we have is that the FA are unhappy for their pitch to be regularly shredded.
It takes over 3 weeks to recover every time.
I doubt the NFL would stick £100k in the pot to have 2 pitches at 'Northumberland Pk',
but we could go 3G/fieldturf/plastic if the prem allowed it.
The trouble is NFL need longer 'grass' to cushion falls, where football needs shorter grass for passing.
But generally the FA are allowing it for the cup and Blatter says it's the future of the game...
Lovely Rubberley.
interesting stuff from prof/galahad on coys:
A combination of information from Galahad at WHL, and from his cousin Gabe across the pond.
"The NFL decision is close. Getting them on board would have a huge impact on what happens next with the stadium, and on the ownership of THFC. The latter issue only depends on the NFL decision insomuch as it impacts the size of the deal.
CH are keen on us either way. Have offered JL two deals, depending on NFL outcome. Uncertain if they're the only players; some whispers of an offer soon to arrive from another group. No idea who. Depending on JL's comfort level with what's been presented to him, and the NFL choice, this decision could come sooner rather than later. The opportunity is right there for him, if he wants out.
The upcoming weeks have the potential to be monumental for the future of THFC. That's not hyperbole. Wheels are in motion. It's possible we come away with no change in ownership, and no NFL. Much depends on how JL plays his hand."
i guess CH= cain hoy

Would the NFL deal delay the stadium? Not that I mind.

I thought Cain hoy might be back in for us. Good news as far as I'm concerned. Guggenheim have shed loads of cash.

Would prefer an Asian who wants success.

Definetley don't want american owners. None of them have been any good. They don't have any interest in football other than making money.

I've got to agree. American owners really don't have much success here. Not sure they really get it which is strange as there's lots of knowledgeable American fans.
