I have written an e-mail to the club regarding the availability of match day tickets for members like myself for next season.
I suggest more of you who are in the same situation do the same.

This is what I wrote :

To whom it may concern,

I have just read the Club announcement on the official site regarding season ticket/membership renewals and stadium update. With regards to this news, I have a query, to which I need further clarification.

Both myself and my son are Bronze Members (International). The Club announcement gives an extensive and detailed plan of the arrangements regarding season ticket holders. However, hardly any information whatsoever was given regarding the availability of match day tickets for members.

Therefore, I wish to know whether the new arrangements which the Club has in place, will reduce or affect in any way the availability of match day tickets for members. As you know, the Club strongly promotes that the main advantage of paying and holding a Club Membership is that of having ‘Match Day Ticket Priority’.

Consequently I am sure you understand, that members like myself need to know and be informed whether the prevailing situation of next season, will encroach on their membership paying rights .

It's not difficult to work out how many tickets will be available to members. 4k loss means 32k capacity - 23k STH - 3k away fans.

Less than 6k for members, gunna be hell to get a ticket

I've mentioned it before, but surely they will reduce the away allocation for the season?! Will be a fucking nightmare for tickets on a membership, especially if we have another season like this one!

I'm fairly sure the expected allocation is 10% of capacity for away fans and I think we only offer 2,900 due to safety issues.

I'm not 100% on that allocation but if I'm right then I doubt we'd change it

I've always thought it was up to 10% as you have clubs like Arsenal, United, Chelsea, Newcastle etc offering below that - but just read up on it and apparently grounds with over 30,000 have to allocate at least 3,000 away tickets and if the ground holds less than that they have to allocate at least 10%. Which means you were right originally, tickets are going to be an absolute ball ache to get hold of next season.

What's it going to achieve? No matter how much members want to go they can't just remove 4000 seats and get them all in anyway. Not sure exactly what you expect to achieve?

The only thing I could see being feasible is not giving out any new season tickets this year, meaning there'd be a small decline in the total number since some small number won't renew for whatever reason.

What I expect to achieve ?

Right, I expect the club to be more forthcoming and honest with its paying members.
I expect to get value for money, the paying members are going to be short changed unless the club has contingency plans in place for us.
I know that the development logistics have to be carried out, I have no problem with that. On the contrary, I'm proud of the plans for our Club to move forward and I long for the day when we move into our new stadium. BUT........... the club needs to give a fair deal to its paying fans, after all we are the ones who contribute towards sustaining it.

Finally, if nothing comes out of it, which in all probability it would not, I want to let them know that I'm not as stupid as they might think and that I won't be taken for a ride.

As a block 24 STH I'm getting moved. I have one space on my lap free. No fat chicks.

Actually, would keep me warm in the winter months.

No fat dudes.

Unless I run out of fat chicks.

They are being forthcoming. They've delayed the renewals so they could tell us this before we choose whether to renew or not. There will still be priority over non-members as normal and it'll be more important than ever, if anyone doesn't want that they don't have to sign up for next year.

White Hart Lane doesn't need a send-off - it's not going anywhere. We're just reconfiguring how the stands look, which is something that's happened many, many times over the decades.

If away allocation is reduced what's the betting the club try to plonk the displaced ST holders in the seats vacated by away fans - thus putting them right next to them.

So what do you expect the club to do? This work needs to be done, it just means for 1 season - yes 1 it maybe harder to get tickets. Would you prefer to delay this work until we completely move out and delay the project by another season just so you have no trouble getting a ticket and probably still get people moaning that the build has been delayed. Sometimes I think people moan just for the sake of it. In time once everything's been worked out I am sure they'll be transparent in how members ticket purchasing will work.

I'm a bronze member and realise that tickets next year are going to be at a premium which is disappointing, but the club is hardly taking me for a fool and I'm certainly not being taken for a ride.
Next years going to be a nightmare, getting tickets but if it means we only have to spend one season away to get one of the the best grounds in Europe then so be it.
The club can't magic 4000 tickets if they take down a corner of the ground, and it's only fair that the displaced ST holders get first dibs

The decline in seats will be mostly offset by reductions in away fans

So, it looks like getting a ticket next season on my bronze membership is going to be a tough ask.

I'm glad their getting this started in the summer though. Waiting till after January just seemed to be asking for trouble.

It's a worry that some season ticket holders will be using this to their advantage with stubhub. I think the club will have to do something to remedy this.

I won't so don't worry!

So why don't the club just open all tickets to bronze members in one day as we pay for the privilege

Please keep CL matches at WHL :(

As much as I'd like them to be at whl for us fans who've earnt the right to see champions league football for following the club for so long over the tough years it will be good that a larger amount of fans can go to the games if it's Wembley. I'm still dreading it being MK.

That would be surprising, there really is no noise in the system at all about that and hasn't been for months.
